That's no fun! Make the Mustang the commuter = 100% of income goes into making a beast of a car. ;o

Yes, Unfortunately my low gear ratio doesn't allow me to get a correct reading.

With 4:10 gears it shows 262RWHP.

Well, just add 5% and there you go. So probably in the neighborhood of 275hp. Not bad.

That was a joke, You know how they say the 2015 Mustang looks like the Ford Fusion?

Well, We had a change of plans today and had to rent a larger car to take all the boxes.... Particularly the Sway Bars. My friend was going to take it, But his battery died, So I went to go rent it and I was going to tow the car to the shop... Tow truck was going to take an hour and a half they said to arrive to my house... + another hour to get to the destination.

As I waited, My friend eventually arrived... I ended up cancelling the tow truck request and he drove my mustang I drove the Fusion.

    Yeah, I loved it man!

    It's a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium EcoBoost 2.0L Turbo.

I enjoyed flooring it and having the tires screech all while the turbo kicked in. =P!! Smooth ride too, I got it up to 110 and you couldn't even feel it... I drove @ 80MPH the whole 100+ miles and it was the smoothest ride I've ever had, To be honest.

The only thing that comes as close to this, Is my sisters 2014 Honda Pilot, Which is just about on par with the fusion.

Hey be careful brotha you dont want to spend most of your hard earned money into your car. Why I say such a thing well because what if some moron hits you in that LA traffic and totals your car, all your money then will just go down the drain in an instant. In a city where you live I will be paranoid like hell when rush hour traffic starts or lunch time. That's why I hate driving in Houston traffic when I visit my sister. But ya when I was at the gym two days ago I was talking to this one Master Sergeant in the sauna about cars and he told me that he totaled his Z06 corvette a week and half ago because some moron ran a red light. He put over 12K in mods that went all down the drain. Well that car was meant to crumble with all that fiber glass LOL.  Anyways modding a car can be an addiction just like modding a PC or anything else you love. Also if you ever plan on selling your car in like 3-5 years(in which most people do) modding it will cause the value of your car to go down. Most people want a bone stock car that has not been molested.

rear gear ratio doesnt affect dyno numbers(the numbers you got are your numbers, there is no correction for rear ratio)... changing gears will mess with the dyno readings but your supposed to chassis dyno in a 1:1 gear. All the parts sound good in theory but until you get that dyno sheet or 1/4 mile time its just a theory.

If I had to be upset at not being where I wanted to be, I surely wouldn't be upset with someone thato nly has 10 HP more than me.

Yes, numerically higher differential gears will lower dyno numbers. Agree that closest to 1:1 is most accurate. Say Rush had 3.31 gears, dyno'd his car and then immediately switched to 4.10's and dyno'd again, his run on 4.10's would be less than with 3.31....while the car would actually accelerate faster with the 4.10. It is a loss gain scenario. The gain of 4.10's outweigh any dyno number loss through error and added friction, less inertia and whathaveyou.

Now your talking drive train loss in relation to block horsepower guesstimates. When measuring wheel horse power, it is what the dyno says it is. that change do to gear ratio is why we always say dynos are a tuning device not a measure of speed. The biggest thing is no 2 dynos even from the same company read the same. I've see 1 car goto 3 different shops in 1 day and get 3 totally different readings.

Honestly, The day I got the reading at the dyno, I was broken.. But then I remember that I can beat Camaro SS's and 5.7L GTO's and that's good enough for me as I follow through the route to 600+ RWHP.

This is the before, an Off-Roading Mustang =P

After the new suspension upgrades, The car drives wayyy better.

Before, When I used to take those sharp turns on the freeway, The ones that require you to do a 360 basically, At 30mph it'd feel like the whole car was leaning and you could barely hold on, LOL. Now I can take it at 60 and not feel it at all.... This is great!

Following from 25 bus lengths must have definitely been fun. =P

And the i8?!? I remember a post on here from the concept of it... They created it already?

Edit: $136,000 for an inline 3 that pushes 357 HP... Woah.

Looks good! I like it a lot!I went the cheap route and all I did was lower my cobra for looks. What I did was  just cut a coil off LOL. It like lowered the car 2 inches. So I get no performance gain there. Well at least my stang has independent rear suspension.

Looking good so far man   All of these car threads also made me want to start modding my RDX.  Ordered me a new CP-E intake, RV-6 racing downpipe and midpipe, DeatschWerks 800cc injectors, P2R heatshield gasket, Hondata FlashPro to tune my car, and a custom tune.  Hopefully all the parts come in soon because I can't wait to put them on.

Be careful, Once the Mod Bug kicks in, It's impossible to make it go away.

Also, I received my MPT Ghost Cam Stage 2 Tune... This thing is awesome, LOL. The car shakes and ughhh it's so awesome! But I'm going to tune it back to the normal MPT Tune (Need to order it, 'Cause I don't like Bama tuning anymore).

off topic...Saw a BMW i8 and had fun trying to hang with a McLaren 650.

Following from 25 bus lengths must have definitely been fun. =P

And the i8?!? I remember a post on here from the concept of it... They created it already?

Edit: $136,000 for an inline 3 that pushes 357 HP... Woah.

More like 50 bus lengths...it was pretty funny. He was behind em at one light. I took off b/c I had no idea what it was and it was on my tail at the light. We get to next light and he pulls beside me. I looked at it and was like OMG! Light goes green. He is gone.

Oh and the i8 was so sweet looking. if I had time to waste, I would have waited till the owner came out to get some pics of it on. I had somewhere to be though.

That's a before and after of your car Rush? That looks a MILLION times better in my opinion. I hate how Mustangs have become girl cars(almost always automatics too). Are the rims glossy or matte? That is one thing that drives me nuts is matte rims, I always feel like they look dirty.

How do you get into car modding and learn all of this stuff? I'll be honest I'm nearly clueless when it comes to actual engine mods etc. I'd like to install a turbo on my Civic though.

LOL Jk, I would only really consider a cold air intake because I hear they help MPG, response and engine life. Might have like a minimal affect on HP but it is a Civic after all, I'm not looking to waste any money trying to make it a race car lol.
