Good stuff. I take it these are reference 980s with the ACX 2.0 cooler stuck on?
I'm going to be running SLI so I'd prefer a stock cooler, will these be added to the step-up at some point?

Yeah, GTA V is due January 27th on PC. It would be very disappointing if we don't get our step-ups before then!

I setup my step up minutes after it was posted on my products page by EVGA mine show as 04G-P4-2980-KR.
So I am expecting it to be a Refernce and not an ACX WHICH IS what I expect and want, I do not want the ACX I want the blower refrence model.
So as the previous poster mentions it looks like it was changed after the fact but mine remains as the reference part (good for me ) but I guess they decided to change it for new step ups and so the first batch are grandfathered in.

The switch could have been done to deal with stock issues. The ref coolers are out now and in demand and sell out fast, the blower isn't out on the market yet or at least I don't think it is. I thought it dropped on the 15th but anyway that gives them more time to get stock since it's not out yet. But that's just me talking out my ass.

As long as you don't cancel the que your good to go. They will honor it if you started the step up before your 90 days expired.

Yes, you are required to pay shipping both ways. You pay directly when you ship the product back to us. When requesting the Step-Up, you will choose your shipping method for sending the new card to you and that amount will be added to the total of your Step-Up. Thanks, Rob

You will be able to Step-Up to whatever part number is available through the Step-Up Program. You have to choose from whatever is in the dropdown when you go to Step-Up. Thanks, Rob
