That's an interesting question. But I think there is no absolute answer, you will just be surrounded by opinions and expectations tell 2024 comes  .
But I think the Titan will be obsolete by 2024, as 4K will probably be the standard mid-range for PC gaming, and a Titan is not even enough to play the latest AAA games today at 4K with maxed out details. For 1080p monitor ? The Titan will probably be still a good GPU 10 years from now, but 1920x1080 tomorrow will be like 1024x768 today. Anyway the card will have many mid-range or low-end alternatives that will perform identical or easily out-perform it with probably tenth the power draw and 1/4 the price. Titan stance will be like just GTX 480 stance today. A good card but not very power efficient with many other better alternatives in the market. 
 

I have 3 Titans and plan to use them for 10+ years if not more or until I cannot use a computer at least for Gaming @ 1920x1200.
But tomorrow what we buy today is already outdated when it come to New Technologies in the Computer World.

Yes i'm talking about gaming at 1080p nothing crazy. I think i will try and keep my PC as is, for another 10 years.
I've spend over $2500 on this system. Unless i get a good job with decent money, i might upgrade faster.
I'm looking for ways to keep my money instead of investing it in something you don't really need yet.
 
What i was wondering the most though is, would you keep your system around for as long as possible unless you really can't play the newest game anymore?
Also, i dont think everyone would be ready for 4K gaming. a 4K screen at 42" will cost you over $2300... Heck, i have seen screens that will cost you more than $4000... Not sure how long this price will stay, but after 3 or 5 years, and the prices are still the same, i will stick to 1080p for a while.

In 2006, 1080p monitors were too pricey, now they became the norm for TVs and PC Monitors, 4K prices won't remain high for long.  Actually there are some really affordable 4K monitors nowadays if you go browse amazon. I've seen prices as low as $470 (not exactly cheap but still). That's what happens when technology is still new and cutting-edge it is always going to be pricey, after sometime its price will adjust more to the mainstream market. 10 years ago GeForce 6800 Ultra was the fastest GPU and 1024x768 was the mainstream resolution, now these things are obsolete by today standards but these released at the golden age of PC gaming, where developers used to put decent budgets on PC games to take advantage of PC graphics capabilities, not like today's lazy console ports. Titan is also expected to have higher longevity since the technology doesn't move as fast as it was 10 years ago.  
I don't upgrade my system very frequently too. I keep most of my components other than the GPUs, around 3-6 years. But after 10 years there will be just many better cheap alternatives that are more power efficient and faster. 

I like this kind of speculation, but a lot can change in 10 years! However it seems graphically, games have not evolved much in the last 5-7 years. Technology is only as good as the games that actually take advantage of it. I've always, purchased a new GPU every other generation, and since owning 2x 7800 GTX's, I’ve always been running an SLi setup. Well that brings me to my point, I have been running 2x 670's in SLi since release, and for gaming at 1920x1080, there isn't a game that really brings these cards to their limits. Looking back to the Release of Crysis I was running 2x 8800 GTS(320mb) cards, and running it on the highest settings would really bring the cards to their limits at times. Even later running with 2x GTX 260's could take its toll! I really feel like Nvidia & AMD/ATi are pushing forward with technology & discovering new boundaries, but game developers are not taking advantage! yes 2x 9** series cards would annihilate my 670's in terms of performance, however why should I spend another grand on technology when it's not necessary to reach desired performance levels? For much of this issue, I blame consoles & Pirates (pirates, for pushing companies away from the pc market). All the revenue is there for consoles, why would gave developers go out of there way taking all this new technology in, when it really only benefits us minority PC gamers. Anyone remember trying to play Oblivion with a 6800 series card or Radeon X800 series (was the better option) at a measly 1280x-1024 or if you were lucky 1600x1200? Yeah I miss the days where when I upgraded I could actually feel and tell the difference.
Sure there is super high resolutions & multi-monitor set-ups that can tax new hardware, but for many years to come 1080* will be a standard that most users will be gaming on.

I know that PC games grow faster everyday, and that i might get in trouble running games at max settings 3-5 years from now. But by tweaking the setting, it should still look better than the consoles right?

I just fired up my time machine and paid a visit to the year 2019. There were no humans left alive on the planet after an apparent asteroid strike. Dark clouds filled the skies. The cities were in ruins. So, yeah - your current GTX TITAN setup should be good to go.
