Hi! I just bought an 750 Ti ACX and installed on my new build. The card was amazing until I updated the nvidia driver (344.11). After looking the forums I downloaded a "patch" to reduce the noise, it worked but is still annoying.

Is there a way to reduce the noise or I need to buy another card? :(

Thanks

It would help if you explained the "noise".... High pitched? Coil whine. Annoying rattle? ACX fins rattling.

Sounds like a bearing in a fan is about to die.

Yes, my MSI Twin Frozr 560ti had a fan that burned out in less than a few weeks. Sometimes you just get really unlucky and you end up with the runt of the litter. Don't pay for shipping however, demand that Newegg give you a "Prepaid Label."

Make sure its your GFX Card first though, that noise could come from any fan in your PC.

The noise started after a few hours, lol. I live in Peru so the shipping could be a little difficult.
Btw, I'm 100% sure that is the GFX card. Just tested the cooler and the other fans.
I don't think that the fan could be burned out because I didn't played anything but League of Legends... The temperature was 20° C or so.
Thanks, I'll be waiting more replies if anyone have another idea about what could be happening.

Also check to see if any cables are being hit by the blades of a fan.

Already checked that. All the cables are fine.
    :(

UPDATE: I put my finger on each fan to see wich fan was making the noise. When neither of both fans were working, the noise was still there so... ****? It could be the cooler? or the fan from the power supply?
BTW: One of the fans of the card suddenly stops and then works again, is that okay?

    thanks.
