sure why not. It's going to be an upgrade over the 780. If you can afford it just bump up to the 980 if its available for you.

For the guys that stepped up in europe, did you actually get a queue number ? Mine just says pending but someone said in another thread that they got a number.

How long before the pending provides an actual Que number? This is my first step up so I'm not sure how long the process moves along. Thx in advance.

Doubt they'll add the SC, as others have stated its the reference cards. They could certainly add it if availability was an issue with the reference version. They removed the reference 980 for that specific reason, it was out of stock. They added the 980 w/ACX to help process step-up orders faster. That was the confirmation I received from CS via email. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a queue number, its not going to happen that quick..just imagine how many orders and step-up requests they got on friday alone..it will take time to process the request, review the invoice, etc.

Sounds like the EU and US EVGA support team aren't on the same page...
Their locations are 9 hours apart so it takes a bit of work to get them both going in the same way. Give the community manager some time to get this working. If you don't see anything on the EU page after a few days let me know via PM.

Yeah, it's listed on the support page, but not in the options list when submitting a Step-Up. Ahhh! Must get in the queue... :S
