For the first time ever, the EK-FC980 GTX water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design - just like with the flagship EK-Supremacy EVO CPU water block - for best possible cooling performance. Such type of heat exchanger also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. Moreover this radical design offers great hydraulic perfromance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

I have the Supremacy Evo and personally, I am glad to see the split inlet flow making it to GPU blocks as well now. With reports of these cards hitting 1400+ MHz core on air, I can't wait to see how these perform under water1

Those blocks look incredible, and hopefully they perform as well as they look.

I absolutely love the look of these blocks.  I wish they would upgrade the existing tops to these.  I would absolutely pay to play.

they are short blocks and leave part of the PCB exposed.  After owning hydro coppers i will never but anything that leaves some PCB exposed.  Guess ill run my 2 980s on air for a week or so untill i find full cover waterblocks.

They do look good though....just too short.

Nothing is wrong with short blocks. Some people prefer to have all of the PCB covered by the block, which I think gives it a cleaner look.

    short blocks...since when?
    http://www.evga.com/articles/00872/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-980-970/#2989
take a gander at the blocks

only place exposed is where the DVI cables go
and where the power connectors are

MY 780's Classified HC have full blocks... 100% coverage
    All black

whereas the 980 HC's  have a acrylic block with a metal cover -im assumming EVGA will light up on the sides too
I'll just wait for 980 classified HC's or possibly titan II
