Hi All,
As the title says it all...what do you think? And i'll be getting the ROG Swift as well, so i'll be playing at 1440p !

CPU: Intel Haswell-E 5960x @ 4.4Ghz
Memory: Mushkin Redline DDR4 16GB (4x4GB) 13-13-13-35
GPU's: 2x EVGA GTX 980 SC's
Sound Card: Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium Fatality Champion Series
CPU Cooling: Corsair HX110i Liquid Cooling

    It seems that this question is coming up a lot on the forums. If you look around, there are 3-4 threads about these GPUs already.

    Guess it's gonna be 2x GTX 980's in SLI
     
    Glad I've been patient and skipped all those generations from my X58, finally the wait is worth it !!

    If you don't already have 780 Ti cards, the 980 is a nice choice and has a great price point. The classified 980 would be nice but I'd like to see where people get with OCs on the reference before trying to feed it more juice. I have a hunch that the SLi 780 Ti classified will beat a 980 when over-volted on water. Regardless of which inches ahead I am sticking with 780Ti Classified until the 22nm GM210.

    I have only 2x 580's....so my choice is good, right???

    GTX 980s seem to be better everywhere, even at 4k despite the 256-bit bus width.  In addition they cost like $150 less and use almost half the power.  So definitely get 980s.
