Lol probably just a different label and a different price. I remember walking through BestBuy and seeing that the PC and Xbox 360 versions were $5 difference.
I want to know if they will ever work with the 360. The D-Pad on the 360 controller is complete garbage!

Yup just a different label. Ugh still no wireless support, I should have kept my 360 controller + dongle.

Wait that thing still exists? I completely forgot it was being made by Valve.

The Steam controller keeps on mutating. That means that it still has 6-9 months minimum before it could be to market because of tooling, manufacture and distribution logistics. With the XBONE controller it's all just drivers. That's not really much of a big deal. While the Steam controller is interesting, it's like a unicorn at the moment -- mysterious and likely not real in current form.

What is the "real" advantage of the Xbox One controller over the 360 controller?
You're paying for the wireless on the X1, but not using it. That seems odd, plus, does plugging in the USB cable actually disable the wireless radio in the controller? I would surely hope so.

if your motherboard has the remote connector on it, all you have to do is get the little receiver and plug it into your board and have the receiver at the front of your case.

I really like the Xbox One controller. The sticks especially make it superior to its predecessor as well as the competition from Dual Shock 4 (which has sticks that show considerable wear after normal usage).
Will definitely keep the 360 for PC controller until wireless support is added though.

Xbone controller is horrible and a step back. The triggers are just god awful on it. I will be keeping my 360 controller for PC. Dual Shock 4 is much much better. Sony hit a home run this time around. As for the sticks wearing down. They either have faulty controllers or people are just extremely hard on them. I choose the latter. I have 2 launch day controllers that are still perfectly fine and the PS4 gets played on a daily basis.

The XBONE controllers just do not "wow" me enough to justify switching over from my wireless 360 controllers. Additionally, there's a couple "party" games my friends and I play when they're over, and I only need to occupy a single USB port to connect 4 wireless controllers. For the wired XBONE controllers, even with a USB hub considered, that's a lot of spaghetti wire all over, and gives me flashbacks to the SNES days of accidentally yanking consoles out of the entertainment cabinet.
