Yep, this release replaces the Arial Bold font which messes up what Chrome displays. Happened to a friend on Win7 and to me on 8.1.
If you have windows 7 you need to open the file "arialbd_0.ttf" in C:\Windows\fonts (search for it or use cmd prompt). In Windows 8 it's "arialbd.ttf". Click the install button when opened to restore it.
Uninstalling precision x 16 doesn't revert this stock font back btw.
I don't have that font, so I don't think it messed anything up. I have Arial, Arial Rounded MT Bold, and Arial Unicode MS Regular. I really haven't messed around with Fonts in Windows 8.1, so not sure what the default set is.
I didn't have that font also, so i had to copy it from my sister's PC. Looks like the PX somehow deletes it. As soon as I copied it off my USB into my Fonts folder, it automatically installed on my PC and everything went back to normal. ;)

Neither can I. I'm getting the bug in Chrome, which is a little annoying. Overvoltage isn't working for me either. I tried re-installing, and one card locked at 1.2v, but my second card wouldn't budge. I quit/re-opened the program and tried again, and now both cards are locked at stock voltage. Is this the program, or is this an issue with stock bios? It get's stranger... Software does not read voltage correct. So, that is going to always be inaccurate.

For those with wrong font (Italics) or other font issues in Internet Explorer after uninstalling PrecisionX 16, it seems that the font arialbd_B is removed by PrecisionX 16 from Windows\Fonts during uninstallation and must be replaced again..Before uninstalling PrecisionX 16, go to Program Files(x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16\Fonts and copy arialbd_B to your desktop..After uninstalling PrecisionX 16, put arialbd_B back into Windows\Fonts..Fixed, every time (for me at least)..Install PrecisionX 16 again if you have to just to get a copy of the font file, which is what I had to do..Prolly affects other browsers too that I see people are having font issues with.

I uninstalled x16 reluctantly, and moved back to 4.2.1, as I was getting serious stuttering, and when I tried to overclock, it would crash right away if I applied over volts. Time to go back to the tried and true :-)
Will look for the future revisions, once they are better.

X16 constantly crashes windows 8.1 64 bit. Kept getting blue screen of death with " WATCHDOG" error , locked my computer up and would not wake up from sleep mode. Deleted X-16 and all is well, no more crashes. Also, the on screen display never worked even with different keys to toggle. The program is still a piece of crap in my opinion and will not use it until EVGA makes software that actually works.

Scarlet-TechSoftware does not read voltage correct. So, that is going to always be inaccurate.
I'm aware, although I figured it would at least show what Precision is supposed to be allowing it.

Kboost still causes physx to be un-selectable in games like warframe and has been this way since 4.x.x. Please fix this on the grounds that kboost is the most essential tool for overclocking: Constant voltage while using more energy provides accurate and repeatable overclocking results. The only thing that holds kboost back, is that it disables physx is certain dx applications Get kboost + physx woking Kboost + overvoltage woking Kboost and overvolting are essential to stable overclock ( 1200mhz+ on 780) and If the nvidia gameworks technology Physx worked with a stable overclock forced through kboost. Evga Precision would simply be the only tool for overclocking evga gpus. For some reason kboost is not working for me, it wont let me turn it on. Where it says overvoltage it states that it is at 1300mV instead of the offset value. One more thing when i run Unigine Valley for example the voltage in the middle under the GPU clock says 1200mV instead of 1300mV. Im running a modded bios on LN2 tested by kingpin for gtx 780 ti dual classy waiting to get the official updated special bios from EVGA which i emailed yesterday.

I've run into a couple of issues with the OSD that I want to report:
No OSD on Bioshock Infinite
FPS being reported incorrectly on Crysis 3- I'd like to believe that I'm getting avg 75 with a min framerate of 65 on max settings, but I know I'm not. (Fraps and Rivatuner both show half that).

To me it appears to be unusable as OSD functioning is pretty broken. Overvoltage-wise though seems to be doing great for the few minutes I've tried it.
It's a shame really, I really loved the 1.3V available for my classy. Hope they fix the issues soon.
Issues found:
-Messes up Windows Media Player
-No OSD in Wolfenstein
- OSD Appears in software where you don't really need it to
I would also appreciate it if Firestrike and BF4 wasn't on the ignore list as well.
I really want these 1.3V 24/7.

Precision X 16: I have a bug where Precision does not save the applied screenshots folder. When it's set and Precision shut down, restarted/PC rebooted with Precision autostart then Precision does not start right away and a message pops up in the middle of the screen saying "Folder "" does not exist". When 'OK' is pressed in the message box to clear it Precision starts the normal way with an empty screenshots folder input box.

Does anyone know if PrecisionX 16 works with GPUs pre 600 Series? Opening the program freezes the OS & updating to the newest drivers didn't help.

The "Keyboard Display" functionality is currently in real bad shape. I can't get "Small" font to work, and more importantly, I have a feeling that it's just going to list "1 setting per line", which is ridiculous. With v4.2.1, I could properly list all the vitals on my 3 GPUs, on the single Logitech G15 display. I expect the same behavior with the fixed PrecisionX 16. Please work to make it happen, guys. Hint: When the user has tons of settings "selected to be shown", it's time to stop showing the labels. In fact, perhaps a better option would be: Let the user choose! I don't want labels. I'd much rather prefer all of the stats readily available on my display with no scrolling. I'll attach a picture to show you what I mean. It is a picture of my Logitech G15 keyboard display, using Precision X v4.2.1, showing all vitals of my 3 GPUs, all on one display, in a great font size with no scrolling. Make it happen for PrecisionX 16. You can do it.

Thanks mate this worked perfectly. A nasty bug indeed. Seems to replace the Windows default variant with "arialbd_B.ttf" which PrecisionX installs in "C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16\Fonts". Not quite sure why PrecisionX needs to install its own variant (instead of using the available system default) of the most common font available in Windows.

Few things really need to be sorted, simple stuff really. 1) Logitech output, how was it missed that Medium size = Small size? We need a smaller size text. 2) I don't understand where or what is forcing my OC / OV enabled as soon as the program starts? I have to go in there and press default for this to disappear. Why? 3) Default should not put the program back to default values (OSD etc). Or at the very least provide a button to reset clocks / volts to default only. 4) Though I have the program starting automatically, it starts but does not provide Logitech screen output. I have to turn it off and re-enable it for it to provide this output. Why? 5) k-boost does not work. 6) Unlike AB, if I have my Nvidia settings to max performance, this forces high clocks all the time. AB does not. Why? I have to use Adaptive with this which is not preferable. 7) Fonts. How on earth does this program stuff up Windows fonts? Just how? I really want to use this, ability to OV by this program alone and it showing my card and once you get used to it.. it's great, but it needs work and all of that is simple stuff. None of this x64 bit recording, 50 different languages etc etc.

This has been reported many times over and over again. Jacob from EVGA has already commented that it is an issue they are looking into. Can we stop repeating it over and over again now? A bug report thread is flawed if no one reads the bugs already reported. It is turning into spam.

Overvoltage don't seem to work. stuck at default voltage, @ 2 gtx 780 classy's.
This has been reported many times over and over again. Jacob from EVGA has already commented that it is an issue they are looking into. Can we stop repeating it over and over again now? A bug report thread is flawed if no one reads the bugs already reported. It is turning into spam.
Ok didn't see that mentioned in the pages I checked. Maybe make a known issue sticky will prevent more people mentioning this.

I downloaded this today and now I regret in hindsight lol. Along with the fonts being removed, it makes my mouse disappear in Guild Wars 2 (I disabled OSD and it still does this) and also causes the game to crash soon after.

Does anyone know if PrecisionX 16 works with GPUs pre 600 Series? Opening the program freezes the OS & updating to the newest drivers didn't help.
If you're running anything under a 700-series, stick with 4.2.1. RTSS was updated to remove the lock that MSI had on 64-bit compatibility. OSD is running fine with the 64-bit WoW client now.
