Kind of mixed feeling on GTA, these guys just seem to flip flop too much for me.

Id like to see more studios go private...

Same. I'll get it on sale at some point. Finally it has a release date though.

I'm glad I pre-ordered it at $47 for a Steam key a couple months ago on another site.

I won't buy it. If history repeats itself, GTA 5 will be a horrible console port, be extremely overpriced for a game that released on consoles a year previously, and come with LOADS of invasive DRM. Finally, I learned my lesson about buying games from Rockstar.

In Australia, the steam version of GTA IV is still $50 USD.
I feel like rockstar are robbing us, despite making good games worth playing.

I am hoping to see a price drop at the christmas/new-years sales.

Despite the price, I am looking forward to the release.
I used to own consoles - I've given up on them - PC master race!
My savegame was corrupted, and I couldn't play the game at all anymore without restarting the game - I gave up on it and consoles from that point.
So much wasted time for no result...

For the amount of work put into the game, I sort of expect that price. If you were the developer, you wouldn't want to shortchange yourself either.

People also complain about monthly charges for their ISPs and MMOs but when you think about the price per day, it's negligible. People will buy something else during that month without thinking twice because they 'just want it.' Some items are inevitable like gas for your vehicle, etc.

I just hope it performs better than GTA 4 did.

I'm really getting sick of crappy PC ports. Dead Rising 3. Watch Dogs. Is it that much harder to make a game on PC work normally and isnt capped to make consoles look better?

    Intel i7 11700k l ASUS PRIME Z590-A l ASUS TUF RTX3080Ti l 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro l Evga 1000w Gold l 512GB Samsung EVO l 2x5 TB Storage Drives l  Corsair Crystal 570X White l Audio Engine A5+

I think I'll get it fairly early  intentionally held off for the PC version... Didn't know it was going to take this long though!

hopefully since the next gen systems are basically laptops it will port over much better then GTA 4 did that was all on more lock down console. Wishful thinking but i'm trying to be optimistic about it. Ubisoft sucks and actively hates the pc community and Dead rising 3 suffers from a very outdated engine, so i'm not gonna hold those against Rockstar ,Look at Ryse apparently that's shaping up real nicely.

    Corsair HX1000W - Corsair 12gb DD3 Dominator ram 1600 - Intel 80 gig X25m SSD -

Rockstar has ALWAYS put out crappy ports to the PC. Rockstar treats their PC customers worse than any other gaming company out there. GTA 5 will be just as much junk as the rest were on PC.
