Hi- does anyone know how to turn off the red EVGA logo on the GTX780ti classified hydrocopper cards as the red led's ruin the look of my black and white theme
I've tried the Geforce Experience thingy no use

Put a small piece of electrical tape over it, or open the card and disconnect the power cable for the led. That will be your two best options, I think.

Opening the card will not void the warranty, and the hardest part is having to disconnect the water loop. You would just need to clean the old thermal paste off and reapply new material.

I'm not going to put tape over it which will make my rig look awful and not really liking the idea of removing the waterblock to both cards but if that is the only way then I'll suppose I'll have to do it
Shame there isn't a software method- bios or something to do this

There may be. I use the EK blocks, so I am not sure if there is a work around that currently. Hopefully one of the EVGA Techs can pop in.

There is a fan cable that the acx cooler would normally use for the fans plugged into a 3 pin connector directly below the 8 pin power connectors. It powers the led. If you unplug it the led will turn off.

It is on the PCI side of the card. In the above picture, it will be the connector in the top right side next to the capacitor. You may be able to see it without removing the block.

Looking at the spacing in this picture, it looks like there will be enough clearance to use a jewelers screwdriver or something like it, maybe even a tooth pick so it isn't metal, to disconnect it. I used a screw driver to check the connections on my 750ti, and that fan header is smaller than the one on the 780ti.

:-) good deal. I would love to have the logos that light up, and a sleeve type film (see gel filters for a camera) that could change out to make them white leds with a choice to change color anytime.

That fan plug has nothing to do with cooling.. When you reinstalled the cards, did you hook up the water lines correct? Make sure you didn't accidentally bypass the block by accident.

Please post a picture as well.. I just want to see your setup, lol.

the loop looks fine but my pumps did start sounding like a cement mixer for a while- just hope it's air blockage but if no better tomorrow I will redo the loop
I'll post some pics as well if I get it sorted

Careful with the pump, you can damage it if there's an air bubble around the blades. No need to redo the loop though (probably), just rock the case back and forth, and try starting the loop while the case is on its side. I have that issue when I drain and refill my loop; the pump spins and whines, but there's no water circulation. Just rock the case and eventually it starts pumping. But first time I saw this I was like OMG I screwed up my loop. :D

I did change the led's to white and use colored film under the metal EVGA cover on my HC Titans.  The red really clashed with my system.  Used colored film on the Pro SLI bridge as well, led is already white.

All seems to be well this morning- temps are back to 25+26c on the SLI cards and 25-29c on my 4770k @ 4ghz so must have been a temporary thing
Will attempt to post pictures a bit later

Shake your case and make sure you don't have air bubbles.

Please take pictures, because it sounds like something else is going on at this point.  I am not sure what motherboard you are using.  If it has dipswitches, make sure they didn't get bumped into the off position by accident.  Make sure your cables, even on the power supply, are fully seated as well.
