Hey folks! Just wanted to pop in and say Hey! Things are hellishly hectic on the Pimp side of the world with work turning "Office Space" into a documentary every time we turn around. Family-wise, the kids are growing like weeds - They have just started 4th and 1st grades respectively. The youngest is happy to have the same 1st grade teacher as his elder brother. This also means we've already struck up a relationship with her and can expect nothing but honesty when it comes to dishing the dirt on his daily activities. My wife continues to work towards her college degree. Family life wise, we're doing awesomely! Otherwise, things are going great, with the 'to be expected' rough spots. I'm still with www.themodzoo.com as their social media pimp and have been doing hardware reviews as well from time to time. It's interesting to get into that side of things, digging into the usability and mod-ability of cases, case lights, headsets, keyboards and most recently mice. It's something that I'm glad to be doing, but am also VERY glad that I am able to take time to do these reviews so my family life doesn't suffer, nor does the quality of the review as a result of trying to rush them out. I only have to deal with the limitations of my supplies ( http://themodzoo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1693-mid-towerlian-li-pc-a51b-case/ highlights what can happen when a case is delivered to someone without the right motherboards.) Anyway, I hope this post finds everyone in good health and in good folding. I've heard possible rumors that there may be something in the works. . . d

Apparently the universe took issue with the strength of my Pimp Hand... I came home from work on Monday to find that our first fill of heating oil leading into the cooler weather seasons caused a leak to spring in one of the tanks...
We got off lucky on how much oil was spilled, and the oil company came out that evening to pump the tanks out, brought in a crew to help clean up the oil and contacted the Dept of Environmental Protection to ensure there wasn't any leakage that got out into the environment as a whole, as well as making sure the house is safe to live in while this is ongoing.
The cleanup portion of this is going to be mostly taken care of by a public fund we all pay into in this state, so that's a good thing...
However, the removal of the busted tank and it's companion and replacement is likely to cost us a couple of grand. Not the most exciting thing in the world, to be sure.
So, this responsible adult thing is a PITA when it bites you in said A...

It provided a good reason for me to fold a little more than usual, kicking some heat back into the core of the house.
I'm just getting super frustrated at the non-communication from the people we've requested quotes from so far...
Worried the added debt load is really going to kick my folding ability right in the ass...
But, we'll get things sorted out.
