I was lurking over on the [H] forums and found a post talking about a new project that is going to be working with proteins. Any chance we can get the Crunching@EVGA team added to the project?

    Heya Khali , nice find
Always nice to try our something new.
I signed up, and thought I'd have a look see.
A little narrow birth at start:

However, it might have something to do with this:

    I'm sure it's temporary.
I'll check in when some wu's has found it's way into the grinder

I pointed out the upload/download server over in their forums in one of the threads related to work distribution issues. No confirmation from admins on it, but some of the volunteers suggested it might be the bug that multiple projects have that falsely indicates that server is disabled. You do still get work. It just isn't rolling out as intended. Being a new project with multiple "oops" to take care of, you definitely want to take this one with stride for a bit to allow them to iron it all out.

Edit: Oh... and if you want to simplify the team creation process, you can always set up a BOINC-wide team. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/teams/

What?  There's an easier way?  PFFFTTTT!  Just when I corral the BOINC in favor of the EVGA DC Captains... you curve ball me!  ARRGGHHH!.... okay... well thanks.  One more thing on my plate!

Well....the good news is that when you set up the BOINC-wide team, nobody has to go in a make the team at the projects that activate that function. It is up to the project to turn the feature on. However, when they do, the BOINC-wide team account will get an email stating that a new one was created at project xyz.

Well it seems my sig server that I use is on and off again... but BOINC is set up now.  We should not have to go through this again.

    Yay, got iGem's.
After some hours (10-12) iGem's started to download.
The iGem page still report of the same Server problem, so I guess this is just a bug like some say.
    The wu's look like this:

Delivered tasks are still pending for validation, so I cannot say exactly what numbers each wu gives.

Studying the work queue I found this: (Bottom)

The event log had this to say about it.
9/18/2014 8:01:38 AM | [link=mailto:iGEM@home]iGEM@home[/link] | Giving up on download of 1C3A.pdb: permanent HTTP error

For a brand new project, I think they do great, and their hickup's is minor.
I wouldn't mind pay them a visit later.

I ran some iGEM work last night. Out of 21 tasks 20 ran fine and 1 had some sort of odd error. After surfing around on their forums it seems like they have some issues to iron out yet. But that's expected with a new project.
