I have a GTX460SE card that suffers from this bug even with the latest GeForce drivers. Is this an issue with any of the 600 series cards?

No problems for me but I did find this fix. Whether or not it works is unknown to me. Try it at your own risk: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/26-home-theater-computers/1317491-silent-stream-bug.html#post20055011

Yes, I'm aware of that fix. Haven't tried it because I normally use optical out from the soundcard which works fine. But will need a video card for a new build and might as well get one that doesn't have this issue.

Upgraded to a GTX660 last year. Problem went away with the upgrade.
