Hi guys,
For a few months now I have issues with my GTX 580's, and I'm pretty sick of it .. When I play a game, doesn't really matter which one (e.g. CS:GO, Battlefield 3/4, League of Legends), my computer completely freezes (without SLI enabled). As soon as I enable SLI, I can play, will get a freeze, and I am not able to boot into windows. As soon as I hit the login screen of Windows, the computer freezes. I have to unplug one of the GPU's, reboot, turn off SLI, and put it back in. So SLI is not an option anymore. I also tried switching slots, no result. I'm not sure what to do anymore.. I don't get any error codes, it just freezes. No dump files, nothing.
Also, sometimes it's working for a while, but where I normally have 200+ fps, I get < 40 fps, or I get massive frame drops.. Which is weird behavior, right? So today I noticed the following in the EVGA Experience graphs:
Sometimes I have a good boot, and I can play without any issues..
Why is this happening? I tried re-installing Windows and Nvidia drivers, without success. I hope you guys can help me out.
