    Yeah, That sucks....

Yesterday my Torq X10 was delivered, The UPS guy threw it over the fence... I know this because it hit my moms car and was tipped over right next to the driver side rear wheel....

Nothing new I guess =/  I get so many packages delivered daily, The USPS, UPS and OnTrac people that deliver to this area are really nice to us, It must have been someone else that covered for the UPS dudes route.

AHHAHHHAHHHH!! I am mad for you! I had crap like this happen to me sooooooooo many freaking times when I buy stuff online. My recent issue was when I had to RMA my evga cards and get replacements and one of my cards did not show up even though it said it was delivered.

    Did you call the carrier?

I had an Asus monitor RMA incoming through Fedex, I was tracking the package all day and then it was signed by someone else.... IT said delivered and had someone else's name on the signature..

I posted it here on eVGA as it was happening, The driver straight up took it to someone else's house.

Ya I did all the shenanigans you have to do to process a claim. I just hate going through the damn process cause every body is always slow and because I had to do it so many times.

If you live in a bad neighborhood, might wanna ask them to either deliver when you're home or if the item is small enough lock up in the mail box etc. Stolen packages are no fun.

That is terrible. I am sorry to hear that. I plan to set up a delivery Box, if possible, for them to set items in when I move back to the US.

If sent via U.S. mail and there is so called 'proof of delivery' it is up to USPS to prove it was delivered if a signature was requested. This is why most online companies use a courier service with proof of delivery as a requirement.

With UPS, you can call them and ask for a signature to be required for all your UPS deliveries. If you're having issues with your deliveries, then the driver can not release the package without your signature.

also make sure that the tracking is the current tracking. UPS and FEDEX both recycle their tracking numbers. I get them now and then that show my package delivering a month ago to OH or something.

Sorry to hear about the issue none the less.

The USPS can put a trace on it, but in my dealings with them, you're likely SOL.

Glad things worked out for you. Usually when items get delivered to the wrong address, decent folk bring it to you. You can probably find out where it was delivered and still thank them. Get the tracking number and tell the delivery company (whomever) you want a search on the package. They can tell you. Then you can go and thanks these nice, upstanding folk. You can also get a closer look at the Jag, which is always a bonus.

    Nice to hear!

Our UPS, Fed Ex, and our Post-Man were OK, with us asking not to leave packages at our apartment, its an inconvenience when we miss a package, better off waiting another day or a two vs claims....

Very glad to hear those people delivered the package to you! That's really lucky as USPS can't really do anything as far as package tracking goes, they don't keep tabs on parcels as closely as UPS or Fedex. I've opened cases with US postal inspectors that admitted there wasn't much they could do beyond checking the main sorting facilities the parcel "should've" passed through.

In fact the USPS system is still pretty broken, lived at my old address "643" for eight years. During that entire time we would regularly receive mail that was addressed to "6435" Lot XYZ. We would get everything from credit cards to insurance paperwork to health records and even social security info for a dozen random people (6435 was a mobile home complex a good ways down the road), the address to them was correct but the USPS ignored the 5 and gave the mail to us. Even after I called the USPS to tell them of the problem they couldn't fix it, but the flow did lesson a little.

After returning the hundreth letter with forward on it written with the address circled the mailman took matters into his own hands and personally sorted the mail in his truck because the USPS sort facility couldn't do its job right. (I'd then know when he was on vacation or sick because we'd start getting other people's mail again) I have other stories about the USPS sorting facilities I'm not even going to get into, it's a real shame the postmen have to deal with all the snafus they cause as there are really some very swell mail delivery guys that go the extra mile for you.

There are some good people out there.  The other day I was out in front of my shop and a stranger walked up to me and asked if I was so and so.  He then said that he had something for me.  I thought I was getting served with some kind of summons.  He handed me my wallet.  I had left it at the counter of a convenience store.  I had over $1000 in it.  He picked it up and looked inside and found our business card and came to the shop with it.  I offered him a reward and then one of my hand made coffee mugs but he refused both of them.  He said that it just made him feel good to return it.

Glad it worked out for you, I would had been a wreck=/ hardware is not cheap, and the claims process is painful.

This was the dumbest move I've ever seen. Just cuz the board was an x99 don't mean it needs to be in here. He's not looking for drivers, or help with the board, the topic is a general topic, stuff got stolen. Don't matter what it is you don't put it in the area its about....
