my setup is a bit "ebay" because i use some second hands gtx570 i found there .
so i have 2 cards : an evga and a gigabyte that are same size pcb [nvidia reference] and one asus that was very cheap but it is a bit bigger widthwise so solid 3 way bridges can not connect the 3 x2 sli ports plug

beside that ih have two cards separated by one slot and the last by two slots...

so i would like to buy at evga eu shop a product like that :

but with flexibles , like this one :

so may be i should buy two having three plugs , anyone knows if that already exists ?

i have one long connector of 120 mm but it is not cool to plug it like you made : it is not long enough..
with the use of two 80 mm connectors i got a lot of time-out ; i find that the solution with these bridge was to use the card in the middle instead of the first one . but it is not easy to set because in bios of the sabertoothx79 there is no options for selecting the pci port of the vga .

[ asus and their rog forum'$ moderator are real suckers , they have a product registration system that create a forum account to solve troubles , but you can banned and then no way to contact anyone...i ll never take some asus schit even for free, i even have no idea why i was banned , no email was sent to inform me ]

by now i have bough three cables of 120 mm [because one of 80 mm was no longer ok because of the spin], i wish that will prevent time-out
this is how i will set them :

that is the only way i can do , here are the bridges
