Greetings folks! First post.
I've had these cards for about a year. I've had no issue with them at all until recently. I mean, they've eaten all my games for breakfast and looked for snacks afterward.

Sadly now I am getting the BSOD and the dump is pointing to this. Research is showing that the card "thinks" its over heating so I have been running the fans up with good success thus far. Its just noisy like that and I hate headphones.

Has anyone had any luck with this issue aside from replacing the cards?
Thanks

Which games or applications cause this to happen? Certain games or applications or all games or applications?

Have you tried going back to the 314.22 driver doing the custom install method selecting clean install and deselecting geforce experience?

I'm not sure what type of TDR error you're looking at or what is triggering it but here is one known fixes you can take a look at and follow to see if it will resolve the issue.
    https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/535346/geforce-drivers/constant-timeout-detection-and-recovery-fix-warning/.

Try re-installing Direct X or test with a different version. Lastely, you might want to consider doing a restore point to an earlier date before the issue popped up.

"Search through your computer with hidden files visible option turned on.
Search for iehigh*.* it's probably located under '
c:temporary where c is your system drive."
This issue was not found. The crash is happening with everything from Minecraft to ESO to Valve games. Video and Netflix are no problem.
The first things I did was take a look at the restore points. I thought it was a windows critical update so I went back to before that, which was exactly when the errors started happening. No soap.
Direct x yielded no changes either, no luck with earlier or beta drivers. I always do a clean install, including registry entries.
Im pulling the cards and putting them in another rig. We will see what happens with that

I am also having the same problem with my 660ti, Was a very rare occurance but recently its happening all the time.

No overheat. I thought my card is dying but im not so sure. graphics driver resets fairly randomly but everything looks ok in Afterburner, the one thing I did notice was when it does crash/reset the graphics card usage spikes to 99%.  I used the TDR delay workaround and it seemed to improve the crashes but tbh I think its something taking a dump on the graphics memory or chip. The TdR workaround my reduce the CTD and BSoD but it does not solve the problem of the GpU stall
could be a driver issue though im still investigating.

Just tried the 314.22 driver and it seemed stable for a while but then I got a Bluescreen, some artifacts before the crash.

Pic if crash report uploaded. Im starting to think its the card.. May need to RMA..

Well they've been stable for about a week. I am hoping they hold. I've turned the fans back down to normal. They're running in SLI and are kicking butt again. All the games are running at my favorite settings again. IDK what to tell you.
