I thought this was a well written easy to follow guide

    Does Maniac's guide do the same thing, but less steps to accomplish the same goal?

    There's always driver fusion, as well. Great for getting any problematic files the installer might leave behind, or any driver that doesn't show up on the Add/Remove menu.

    I use AMD Clean Uninstall Utility for my GPU drivers. Does it's job very well and I would recommend it to any AMD users.
