so i did a RMA to my old 770 (only 3 weeks old now) and i received the new one today... and now i stuck with another problem !!!!! the new card doesn't seem to load past the boot screen ! the 1st 770 worked just fine (but it had the really annoying rattling noise) and even my old 560 is working fine too ! so now what ? i asked on another post if RMA would fix my problem now RMA got me stuck with another problem ! i tried removing the card putting it many times and checking the connections everything is well set ! i really doubt it's my motherboard cause it ran my 1st 770 just great and i have a 750w corsair psu so that's not a psu problem either ! any help :/ ? that was my biggest fear btw to get another problem with the new card because i don't know i really don't want to RMA the new card again and wait for another 2 weeks to get another card that will have problems too....technical support said in the RMA that we test the card etc but it seems there is something wrong with it !

If your old 560 works and gets to os, then it sure sounds like a bad card I'd give evga tech support a call..

i just did the technical support guy was really helpful he helped me to reset my bios but yet nothing happened and even my old 770 worked so yeah it's the card itself at this point i am thinking to refund and buy a stock 780 later cause yeah i am done with this product not gonna wait 2 more weeks to fall into another problem and get stuck with rmas for the rest of the warranty's life.

It's unfortunate you wouldn't have been able to switch the cooler, with EVGA's expressed permission and only with it, so that you had a good cooler and a known working card. Sorry to hear about the new issue and hope it gets resolved very quick.

that's something I'll never understand, how can a card successfuly tested in one rig be just dead in another?!
did it dye on the way or what could be a reasonable explanation?!

i would love to know how but the technical support guy said well that one slipped away cause man my old 770 worked fine and same for my 560 ! anw the technical support did convince me and offered me a really good deal with an advanced RMA which is a fast way to RMA that could take less than a week so hopefully i will all be solved with the 2nd RMA
