Anyone looking for a 1000w EVGA PSU might want to check out the 3PM PST Newegg Shell Shocker today. Might end up being a very good deal for it.

    Does anyone know of the differences between 1kw G1 and G2? The only difference I can see is 5 years warranty vs 10 years.

    Comparing them on Newegg the G1 uses lower input amperage 13.5 compared to 15. The G1 weighs more. The G1 has higher output amperage's on the rails. Also the G1 has 6 6+2 pin PCI-E and 2 6 pin PCI-E where the G2 only has 6 6+2. There are some other small differences.

    I'd guess it'll be around $20. So you'd end up at $105 after the rebate.

    uhmm I have SuperNova 750 Gold G1 - that I had custom cable made for..... will they work on 1000w, 24pin, and PCIe cable are the only ones I'm worried about? if they will I'm prob. going pick this up.
