My build is as follows
EVGA Z97 FTW
Intel G3258 unlocked multi.
EVGA 750Ti
G.Skill 2x4gb DDR3 2666
Win 7 Pro 64bit

Even has problems getting an OC with the memory at DDR1333, what am I doing wrong?

It's been since the E6600 days that I OC'ed an intel but from reading about this Pentium chip it should overclock like no one's business.

Go ahead and disregard this thread, after reading the indepth guide for the board I am now running a stable 4.8GHZ (50% OC) on the stock dinky little cpu cooler, when I get my watercooling up and going the real fun is going to start!!

The CPU-Z validation for my current setup
     valid.x86.-fr/ty8wfm

5.0GHZ!!!! This was shooting for the stars on the stock cooler and got to warm so I grabbed the verification and pulled it back down
    valid.x86.-fr/g53h3g
Since I can't post link copy and paste this URL into your web browser and take ouy the dash in the middle to see the verification files

Glad it's running stable now. Let us know how the water cooling goes later on.

Just got my Corsair H100i hooked up so far I'm running 5ghz with prime95 full load temps of around 65c! Not bad at all if you ask me.

Batch#3418B1977 , yours? Thanks for the encouragement y'all. Now I might have to dust off my phase change and adapt its mounting bracket for LGA 1150
