It's definitely a great game for the newcomer. I first played it on Xbox360 and it was awesome.  On PC the graphics and FPS were improved of course as well as tons of custom servers and such you won't find on xbox live afaik.
 
These promotions got me to try BF3 a bit more.  I really like the map with all the vehicles.  This game is one of the few that shows the true power of this hardware.

+1 to that.  they seem to be populated in the morning though.
 
TF2 is BORING because I played it so much already.  I like bf3 fine enough for a few.  I haven't checked l4d servers... I wonder if we should suggest some different games haha

probably but why not just play in tf2, the game is free.  the one i had serious doubts on was the bf3 server when nobody is on so i just found when people were on it and played there so i wouldn't have to rely on source games heavily.  I think in the previous contest I didn't get any time for bf3 because i went on at the wrong time.

WHAAAAT? I won something! Can't believe it.

I got the TORQ X10 gaming mouse. I've been using a trackball for years now, but I'll try it out and see how it is.
 
I would have preferred the Z97 FTW motherboard, but oh well. :) I hope this doesn't disqualify me for the X99 contest (I'll have to check the fine print).

Me too, but I don't think it's possible to track who is playing with any current racing games. All of them are peer-to-peer multiplayer. I guess it's possible they could coordinate something with one of the developers like Codemasters and use Racenet to determine who has played. 

All of the FPS games in these gaming events run of dedicated servers which EVGA controls, and they have the ability to see who has played and for how long.
