All the info about GPU OCing is in terms of frame rates in games. I'm wondering about plugins and/or applications that use GPU-acceleration, such as Premiere Pro, AfterFX, Cinema 4D...codecs that are GPU-accelerated?

Does OCing the GPU make for faster CUDA / OpenGL processing? I tried PrecisionX - increased the clock by 5, then 10% - and didn't notice a difference. This isjust my impression, I didn't run any benchmarking apps.

Thanks for any thoughts you care to share!

To the extent that an application offloads rendering to the graphics card, sure, it will make a difference; much as if you overclocked your CPU and used programs that rendered on the CPU.  Of course, if the overclock is unstable, you may find that the performance could be worse than if you left it at stock.

You mean OpenCL, not OpenGL, right?

It's kinda the same as OC'ing a CPU - some programs are compute-bound, some are memory bound, and for some CPU and not GPU is the bottleneck. Hence you'll see the most improvement from OC'ing core, or memory, or no improvement at all.

Something else to pay attention to is whether your clocks are actually increasing above the base/boost clock  when you increased the clock offset. It may not depending upon the how much and what type load is being put on the GPU.
