    I'm not sure EVGA will ever provide "Hackintosh support" for any of its hardware, but I have seen other Z97's being used (successfully and unsuccessfully) as a Hackingtosh platform. Here's an example of one being used and people having issues with it.

    || MM Ascention Case | Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 7 | Intel Core i7-4790K | G.Skill Ripjaws Z 16GB 2x8 | EVGA GTX 780ti | Samsung 840 EVO 500GB | Tagan BZ Series 1300W | 480 Dual Rad 1/2 ID GPU Loop & 320 Dual Rad 1/2 ID CPU Loop | CPU: 4.8Ghz @ 1.26V & 60C on MaxLoad | RAM: 2400Mhz @ 1.65V | GPU: +400Mhz Core, +500Mhz Mem @ +75mv & 35C on MaxLoad ||

    If you are wanting to do a hackintosh build, you are best going with a Gigabyte board...

    i can confirm z87 stinger works. im sure z97 would work but i don't want to say it does. i don't know the difference between the two but if you haven't bought a board yet i would get the z87 since i know it works. if you already have z97 just load up clover with the correct config file and should work.

    As far as an official comment on it, EVGA would never say that a device is officially supported as a hackintosh.  It's not exactly legal, and there is no official OSX support for the board.  Best you can do is check within hackintosh communities, but EVGA wouldn't be able to say one way or the other.
