Is Evga coming out with GTX 800 series GPUs in September or is it only Gigabyte versions being released?

Rumors are October for Nvidia partners and another rumored change to GTX 9xx naming convention skipping the 800 series numbering.

I'll be patient and bide my time. I've heard rumors as well, but am not in the Loop right now. Not like i'd be able to say anything anyway lol :p

I don't think it would be wise for Nvidia or any other Nvidia seller to not have an 800 series. Nvidia from the GPUs I knew of before are not so Revolutionary enough to skip a whole new Numbering series. Not saying anything against Nvidia, but I think it would be unwise. If that rumor was true, and I haven't heard that 1.

Given that EVGA is Nvidia's top partner in N.A., it would be surprising to see another company come out with cards sooner.  If anything, the rumors have been mostly an alleged Gigabyte rep talking about things that he's likely not supposed to talk about.  There are still NDA's that companies are bound by.  But, you never know in this business.

EVGA without a doubt knows what's happening either way, and am sure they will be on top of whatever happens
