Hi does any one here have any pictures of what two empty pads on the motherboard
I need to short out .
I looked and the pictures out there and they do not come up any more.
I know one is up by the cpu and the other is by the chipset but were.
thank you for any help.
I have a x5680 I got and I would like to try it.

    Hi thank you rjohnson11 but I think that is for a different board and not the
    Classified 4way board thank you for trying I just can not find that old Mod for
    that board and I know someone hear knows what to do and has done it and were
    on the board to look or has a picture of it.

    The pictures you're referring to used to be on the kingpincooling.com site, but some (not all) of the pictures have been removed.  The only thing I can officially say is that EVGA is willing to do it for you for free if the board is within warranty.  If it's not within warranty, they may still be able to do it for a small fee.

    Hi thank you nordicjedi for the info. But I was looking to do it myself.
    I will look for i7 990x then and just sell off the x5680.
