Only problem is... wrong Viper...   Love them stats though... I wonder if I can convince them to let me 'borrow' them.

Have you seen the user leaderboard for this contest?

The #1 user has over 18x credits as the #2 place.

His computers are hidden, I wonder what he's got and how many?

EDIT: Just read one of his posts which includes the line, "If there is no fix, I'll have to switch away from implementing Seti in our datacenters across the board."  So sounds like it's corporate-owned hardware, which makes sense based on the throughput.

Yup, I've done some drilling too.
One of the theory's about his hardware is based on computing capacity and user ID's on each host, we talk about 300 machines or more.
Some datacenters however use crunching projects to "Burn in" servers.
Corporate owned machines are also forbidden to use in crunching. I understand many don't care about that, but what beat's me is, why sign up in a challenge just to crush everybody?
Not Nice

I was there... just under a different name.  Look for my first name... ;)  I changed it to more properly reflect things but that probably won't hold and I may have inadvertently canceled me out of the game in doing so.

I guess I was wrong.

Hola !
It might be a good idea to check our work queue for those AstroPulse V6 6.01.
They won't make it in time.
Better off prioritize the short ones now that we enter those last hours.
This one is up for a close race:

I'll be away for the weekend, not able to throw in any last words, but there is one thing in particular I'd like to mention.
I have noticed how some have abandoned their regular projects, to support the team in this contest.
Even with multiple GPU's, this SETI project does not reward by far compared to any other project.
Some has gone from 2-3mil day's to 100K or less day's, to support our team in this challenge.

It has been noticed, and I salute you.

Do you think that completed and pending tasks before the end time will count? Looks like this is NO!

Greetings bcavnaugh & EVGA Team.
To answer directly, No.. Pending tasks will not Count, then again.... will Count ha ha.
See thing is... When you upload a completed WU, it will update Your credits right away, however, if the WU fail in validation, it will be extracted.
That's why you may see Your Points may be lower a bit later in the contest.
Meaning, pending Points are already credited for. You will not accumulate Points after the contest. They are already counted for.

Thanks for the kind Words about my last post. One thing I forgot to mention...
This SETI Challenge was great. I have learned much, both team wise, and technically.

Great pick on POTM bcavnaugh, THANK YOU!!!!!

We finished up in the 7th place for the Wow event, out of 135 teams total. Considering there was only 13 of us signed up, that's real impressive. Just goes to show what we can do. We put out more points per person than just about every other team. There was only one other team that had 13 members and finished ahead of us. Team AnandTech, who came in 6th, if we had another week we might have even caught up with them. All the other teams that finished ahead of us out numbered us, some by a large margin.

Out this week fishing, on a sad note we did not catch a single fish.
http://www.seti-germany.de/Wow/orga.php?lang=en#danke
If we run this next year I would like to join in but not head it up as to pass this to a new team member.
It is nice to see Crunching@EVGA on this list in the link above.
Thanks All.
