Currently using a cheap PCE-N13 from Asus.  Didn't expect to be using it this long and would like to upgrade to something better (better quality, better signal strength hopefully, etc.).  I was looking at the PCE-AC68 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320173 from Asus.  Not sure if there is something better out there.  I like the idea of the detached antenna for two reasons.  One I can move it wherever to maximize signal, and two I noticed since installing my GTX780 bot DVI ports now with stacked vertically.......right in the path of the N13's antennas standing straight up.  My GTX560 that I was using had the ports running horizontally in a tower case and so I'd use the one that wasn't in the way.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Or is that AC68 card a good setup?

Ive never had Asus network gear, seems to be great stuff, that pci'e just inst worth $100 and AC is still too new for my blood.

Ive had good luck with TP-Link past few years, and yes, you get lemons with any hardware (sad these days are).
    take a looks at these:
