So I'm about to send it in for an RMA. It's been such a damn good board for over 2 years up until yesterday morning when I went to power up and the bios profile wasn't loaded. POST'd like the cmos clear was pressed. So I went into the bios loaded my profile and everything post'd right and booted into win. Then I powered down again. Powered up and the BIOS profile was reset again like if the cmos clear was pressed. So I flashed both BIOS's 1 and 2 with v2.03. Both flashed successfully but the problem persisted after powering down. Next I decided to change the cmos battery. unplugged the power cord to the PSU. removed video card and changed the battery with a new one. This is when green power light came on and since the MB has not been able to power back on. Acting like it's suck in a sleep mode.

I've tried:
-Both Bios's 1 and 2
-tried a another good PSU
-Removed all devices, fans connected and memory, Cmose battery and all power. Held down Cmos clear button and power button to cycle remaining power in the MB
- removed bios chip and BIOS jumper
-And lastly called EVGA tech to see if they have any tricks up they're sleeves.

If any of our there have been stuck in "green" let me know please.
thanks!

That is a bummer I to really liked my X79 MB and still have it as a spare MB.
Check your MB connectors like the + - and power switch for a while I had the - & + backwards and it worked butt then stopped and I set them correct and came right up into the Bios.
Is your CPU Cooler 3 Pin plugged in to the MB?
    Did you Fry your CPU?

yah Ive tried all that. removed all computer case reset, power and HDD led leads. CPU fan connected and no connection

CPU is good, ran the 3930k in the Dark board and runs normal.

yah It's wrapped and in box waiting for fedex to show up and drop it off 10 miles down the road at EVGA.

I wonder what they're going to do to replace it if they don't have anymore X79 SLI MB in stock?

The replacement board you're waiting for isn't for your home rig is it?  The one you game on and will be connecting your Rog Swift to?

no it's for my work rig but when I head out of town for the weekend I usually take my work rig with me to my home in country where the Modded Gsync monitor is at. I planned on going out of town for the labor day weekend. Guess I'll have to go boating or fishing or something else. I usually have to get 2 hour game session a day on the weekend or I get a little testy

I guess I bent a few of pins around the outer edge of the socket after I pulled the CPU out and cleaned around the socket with a chem pad. Dammit! $60 and the board is toast. I hope they have a brand new MB or send me a Dark to replace the $300 X79 SLI I bought back in April 2012.

They're the best! Bought my first evga card back in 2005 7800GS I still have the card in my closet. I need to pull it out and take a snap and post on Twitter for a little TBT hhehehe

on another note. I just purchased this monitor for work. I cannot game on a regular monitor anymore. Using a dell IPS 5ms 60hz at work. great picture but unbearable to play game with.

Should be a decent monitor.  Especially for work.  I wonder why a new monitor is already on sale for 200 bucks off?  Or has it been around awhile?  I see they have a red ring on the base like the Swift...

It released in Europe already. I expect that model to drop in lower $400 range in about 6 months.

I think it might struggle a bit...  I have one laying around here somewhere that looks like that one, but it's a 6800GT if I remember right..
