Wanted to benchmark my Mini ITX computer using my GT 610 graphics card with latest CUDA driver, but "Heaven" will not run because that app cannot set the window size needed. In fact it cannot set ANY window size... I tried many. Had downloaded CUDA v 6.5.14 (GPU Driver Version: 8.26.26 310.40.45f01) for the test.

Is there a different version of CUDA software that will run the GT 610 properly? I have no trouble using the Intel on-board graphics (HD4600) with the Heaven app.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer!

Hardware:
Intel Core i7 4770K CPU, Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI motherboard, 16 GB RAM, 250 GB Samsung 840 EVO storage (2 ea), EVGA GT 610 graphics card (DVI output) to 1280 x 1024 ASUS monitor.

Software: Mac OS 10.9.4, Unigine Heaven Benchmark version 4.0.

    Sajin,

Thanks for your reply. That forum thread is about using CUDA for video encoding. I have no requirement for that. I just need the CUDA software to use the GT 610 as a normal graphics card. But the "Heaven" benchmark cannot/will not open using the GT 610 with the latest CUDA software and latest EVGA driver, as I wrote in my original post. There was older EVGA software that did work with "Heaven," but I no longer have access to that.

How can the CUDA software use the GT 610 if the latest driver has CUDA disabled? The thread I listed has a updated 340.52 driver with CUDA enabled inside the driver. The lastest 340.52 driver from EVGA & NVIDIA website have CUDA disabled inside the driver.

The driver version I downloaded from the EVGA website was supposed to be the correct one for the 600 series, according to that page. As you can see from my original post, the version appears to be 310.40.45f01. The CUDA version I downloaded was the latest, according to the "Update" function of my "CUDA Preference Pane" in "System Preferences." If the version you cite contains CUDA and is the latest, will it work with a GT 610? If so, why was it not listed on the EVGA website for the 600 series of graphics cards?

In any case, this GT 610 (when working) never exceeded a frame rate of 9.5 fps on "Heaven," whereas my Intel on-board graphics (HD4600) results in a value of 12.3 fps. So trying to find a proper driver once again for the GT 610 would seem to be a poor way to spend my time. I removed the card from my computer and will continue to use the Intel integrated graphics.

Thanks for your time and for your link!

Sorry, I linked you to a Windows driver.

The latest driver on the EVGA website for MAC OS systems is... 334.01.02f02

Have you tried that driver? If not, give it a shot.

    Sajin,

Thank you for the Mac OS version of the latest EVGA driver. However, I downloaded that, and when I opened the "PKG" app, I got an error message that "The installer quit unexpectedly; this report will be sent to Apple automatically." Tried again; same result. So I trashed that driver installer app, since I don't have the GT 610 card installed anyway.
