It's not awesome but look OK, good.
Bottom sink could be wider and flat, top not cut, protector for ports little different,
but board follow some ASUS style as Matrix R9-290X and GTX780Ti Matrix Platinum.

Other than the extra red, looks pretty similar to the RIVBE to me. While not a bad thing, I was hoping for something a little more of a departure. I guess if its not broke, don't fix it...looking forward to see what the Sabertooth version looks like.

Yeah, that's a real nice feature. Just suprising to me that more board makers aren't moving to that. Makes cable management look so much cleaner. And when putting a dual slot GPU in the bottom slot, it's a bit easier to install without having to bend the wires 90 degree's to get the card to seat good.

It would be nice, but we can't be hostages of angled connector hole life if other things miss and if motherboard it's not nice. Many things are nice, and M.2 + SATA Express, and full PCB with tantalum capacitors without aluminium solid caps, and nice flat heatsink, and simple details on motherboard, but we are not manufacturer of motherboard, we can hope they will launch nice or choose someone who launch nice. If someone hope that EVGA hardware will work nice that's me, and how long we talk ALL NEW FEATURES, ALL NEW FEATURES. That's not mainstream where it's not enough for Intel to launch one chipset for thick and one for tock, now launch 2-3 cipsets for every and screw one processor only to make place for revision, on every 8-10 months... this is build for 2-3 for someone 4 years, no changing later... FTW no M.2, no SATA Express...E-ATX Motherboard. Guys, install on E-ATX, M.2+ SATA Express + 6 SATA III ports and LED in normal position, I don't need to turn head to look. And one more thing, EVGA quality control and binning hardware rapidly drop. Now I'm not sure even is it my card stable on fabric clock because stupid SkyDiver. If someone had small demand for so expensive card that's me, only to work normal for fabric OC. We will see.

They should include adapters that allow a user to make it right angled if so desired.
I went with the rivebe and I absolutely love it, rock solid since day one so I assume this will be a good board, but I'm going to agree with hallowen on the price tag - ~$500.

I can find in Serbia for 350e 100%. But that would be excellent if they ask as what we want. But I think they look on that as EVGA sign and don't want to take that. That would be too much I think... It's ok some details to change but that's EVGA sign years and they don't want to change. I don't hear complain about color, black red and about number of phases... And about 24 angled connectors, it's much better when you connect, much less pressure on PCB on that way than when you pull on GIGABYTE and ASUS board. You know how that wires and connection is strong, 24 strong wires on small place and design on that way that pressure on PCB not exist at all. On other boards you always hold PCB and connectors to avoid bending.

I don't know, I think other not feel good to someone say later... You use that from EVGA...EVGA first made such connectors. Maybe because of that...That would be my comment...They stole from EVGA, same as other starts to use backplates after EVGA. It's not only that, X99 E-WS have additional 6 pin PCIE connector under CPU socket... You need to connect from top( very long cable for big towers) or over graphic card... Rampage 5 Extreme have on bottom but Molex. He is not so durable. EVGA put them nice on bottom angled. It's unknown why ASUS install on Rampage on bottom and on E-WS in middle of board when they are aware of everything.

OK it's more important but angled connector is nicer and really look better inside of case.
Only this is first year that ASUS have nicer motherboards than EVGA. Even from that side win without doubt over EVGA.

Because of that EVGA motherboards should look nice and offer as more possible function as competition. ASUS Motherboard division is huge, competition with them is absolutely impossible because financial capacity and because size of ASUS. Who knows how many people work on their motherboards, you see they work in same time with CORSAIR, Marvell, and others to optimized best their function, newest and fastest to everything best. In motherboard area they are most innovative company. Board support 3300MHz OC, and CORSAIR launch Dominator Platinum and optimized with them to work nice on 3300MHz... Price of that is insane but their capacity are unlimited they are one of strongest brands on Taiwan. Because of that EVGA motherboard should be tank 14 layer PCB, 20 phases, all new standards, and No excuse, as No place on E-ATX board, and similar thing... Make wider 2cm if no place, but how they find place for everything. And should work and look perfectly and to posses everything with accent on durability as server boards, than customer who don't want to sit half life inside BIOS and read function, who want to OC and keep 5 years like that will choose EVGA before so strong ASUS. When someone tell me ASRock, MSI, except EVGA, no way, if I need to buy something else that will be ASUS, but I would love to see revision of X99. When Intel stop to make motherboards because couldn't keep in race with them.

Yes, I agree 100% Those are Very True Statements and I know eventually testing results will show the truth. In the meantime, I'm Still going to Enjoy once again using an EVGA Motherboard after going through all the complex features involved when setting up/using the ASUS!

That Does bring up a very good point, Maybe ASUS went a little too far in not following Intel's CPU parameters.
