Some webpages won't respond due to "Long Running Scripts". This is what Windows IE11 tells me. The page will just stay blank, or just takes a long time to show the page. How can I fix this issue?

    You can test to see if the problem exists in other browsers as well. If so, it is just the website. I primarily use IE11 also but if I want to confirm a website issue, I check the same web page in Chrome.

    I'll have to do some research on page scripts. Figure out if there's any settings to change that might adjust the scripts, or something.

    There are some websites with that issue. If I come across them, I just stop the scripts.

    Try these two articles and apply the Hotfixes and see if that helps any

    There was 3 of them, but one of them somehow corrected itself, or something. The example below is the current problem page.
     
    Example: 1)  http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/packages/cable-internet-packages.html
     
                   2)  Also, viewing Best Buys online weekly Ads gives a script error too.

    It displays page for me but locks up saying Time Warner Cable  Not responding ! I tried twice same results.

    Works fine in chrome. Using IE it takes about a minute to load.

    One of these days I'll say enough is enough, and use another browser. I need to try and stop being such an IE fanboy. LOL!
