I finally out grew my old case. It wouldn't fit my new build, so in looking for a case I decided to future a bit and went with CaseLabs. So, out with old, but the Xaser VI was a great case and latest me since 2008. I thought I had spent a lot of money on a case then. It's had three builds it, never really redoing it, so it also become a mess. The TH10A has a lot more room. The old Xaser VI:

Thanks to EVGA I won the early EVGA 1600G2 discount, so it's replacing a Silver Stone 1500 and I'm not putting in a RoseWill 1600 I had just gotten either. I went with BlackNoise NoiseBlocker BlackSilent Pros. About 30. 2X480 and a 240 for radiators.

The 120mm fans don't quite work with the CaseLabs system by themselves, so a little dremel and the problem is solved:

After some things didn't fit how I hoped this is the front without the cover:

    SSDs, Samsung EVOs a 250 and 750:

    The EVGA 1600G2

Since I didn't think I could get my Blu-ray player in I sent the case to CaseLabs and had them make paint it Gunmetal to match the case color scheme I had. A USB 3.0 external enclosure if it's needed.

Hopefully I can get to the Motherboard and watercooling tomorrow. Not as exciting as some of the builds put up recently, but, it's mine. When it's done up to Modrigs it goes.

Well, day 2. Got a lot of fans put in, 16, plus the rest of the radiators. Trying push pull for the first time.

Got the motherboard on the tray and hit my first issue. Got a new Swiftech XL with the custom cutouts. Going with a green Nvidia for now.

But, it's tall. Tallest CPU water block I've ever had. So, I have this issue. Gotta find a 180 I guess. I have to rethink my motherboard order now. I'm thinking, in the CPU top, then south, to north and out the left side of the north. We'll see what'll work.

    On to Day 3:
Finally figured out a cooling flow for the MB. The intake and output with both head up, should look cleaner I hope. I decided to try the Tygon tubing with the braids, 2475 IB, 1/2ID and 3/4OD. No plasticizer and it is pretty flexible. I was worried about cutting it with the braiding in the tubing, but had no problems, it cut fine with a regular tube cutter.

So, 3xTitan Black Hydros with an EVGA SLI bridge and the Titan Hydro. The unit below that is the Logisys remote start unit. The power and reset buttons will not be connected. Just the HDD and PLED for lighting.

Close up of the CPU area, memory is back in:

Finally, so cable management taking shape. Instead of coverters and 4 pin adapters I am using 3-pin power boards that can take 8 fans apiece. I'll find a place to stick them and wrap up the cables once I figure out the rest of the tubing.

    We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Have you tried the pre-sale forums, they are usually pretty responsive there - http://www.overclock.net/f/381/case-labs-pre-sales

    Days 4:
    Lights!
A quick power on test to make sure everything is seated right. The remote start, all four cards, the SLI connector, the CPU, and PCIe lights are all a go. The CPU light for the Nvidia light is really bright. I'll turn off the auto flash next time.

Did some drilling into the removable plates and mounted the water reservoir along with inserting the MB tray to gauge connections. I am trying some UV lights in the reservoir, I'll see if it looks nice once the UV coolant additive is in. You can see the potential pump location below the reservoir.

The back with the plates and MB tray in

Hopefully I can get tubing done tomorrow and I have enough of the connectors I need.

    Day 5 already?
Well, except for the tubing everything is up and running. The EVGA 1600G2 is quiet and fired right up. 33 fans and it's very quiet even without the covers on.
Finished adding fans and plates to the bottom, it's getting heavy.

The back it a mess as I sort out the wire positions and ready the zip ties and make sure I have openings for the tubing.

But the front looks a lot better, got one tube in and some more fittings:

I will still make it look cleaner, but I am waiting until the tubing is in. Those top left fan connectors I may zip and velcro to the top behind the fans, not sure yet.

    Day 5 part 2:
Some quick shots to make sure everything was still working ok. It posted and then I shut it down.
Just starting up, best shot of the Nvidia CPU emblem so far. You see the design a little bit.

Full up, that bright green light is the Nvidia logo, just a little washed out in the pic. I put 2 UV lights in the reservoir.

Upper front fans and the Asus connector. The fans are the kind that you spell out names, symbols, give air temp,  etc.

One last try, but the green is washing the symbol out, it looks fine looking at it, just a little bright. I need to find my camera instead of using the phone. You can read the 5 EVGA lights though.

    Day 6:
Well, it fell apart a bit. The design changes at the end required some changes. Doing the pump tests now. Reservoir leaked at first, but it just had to be tightened down a bit more. On to zip ties and clean up.
Just before testing, had an incorrect bonehead connection that messed up some tubing, and I ran out of the tubing which surprised me, had to use some other I had around. I should be able to cleanup the wiring a lot.

Not sure how I feel about having added lights yet, seems okay.

Getting the hang of the reservoir. A little over fill, but having the drain will fix that. Getting the bubbles out seems to be harder than it should be.

At least the door will hide some of it.

On to the back to clean it up too.

Well, I'm tidying up the cords and zipping them up, and it's looking better. I can't put it in it's location yet. I am having some electrical work done on the house and asked about a 20amp dedicated line, and it wasn't to expensive to add on, so I am having 2 put in this week. Cost between 1 and 2 was nothing as they will be in the same place. More future proofing. I had my game machine (the Xaser VI), my server, a mini fridge, my home theater system, and subwoofers all running on the same circuit. Let's just say it was full with some issues coming up with intense usage. So, now I can spread the load out. Then comes the last hurdle. Getting it off the table I was using as a work bench and on to the floor. Guess I could build a ramp.....

Another snag, although a big one. My CPU temps where hitting 50-55C on average which shouldn't happen. Then during the Heaven benchmark it hit 95C. I tried a new water split design, testing etc. Then, I nudged the CPU waterblack to check a connection and it moved a bit. Seems the Swiftech XL didn't sit properly on the CPU, part of it was on the CPU holder frame. Never had that one happen before. So, disassemble everything and fix? Ahh...no, on the fly.

I'm glad all of my connectors are anti-twist, made it a lot easier to this while still in the case. Only 4 drops got out on the top card. Some toweling and an air can hopefully took care of all of it. I reseated the CPU, put on the water block and moved it some. Then some more and with a with a pop it fell into place. How do I know? The CPU to SB connection is now off and do not line up. Some more fixing and it's hopefully all good again.
Got my 20amp lines put in, might as well future proof. Heaven brought my UPS to it's knees, so the EVGA 1600G2 is putting out the needed power for everything.
    And back in business

Another overnight water check, hope everything else is dried out, and try it tomorrow with hopefully better CPU temps. The thermal paste on the CPU definitely showed the waterblock did not seat right. Glad the case is big enough to work in. Also got a 3 pin fan connecter with a resistor in it to cut back on the Swiftech XL logo lights. Definitely better now. My on board stereo left side connector stopped working. I think it's my fault, so no RMA.  So, I got a Xonar U7, so far it's pretty good.

Everything is working great once again. I had to knock the overclock one to keep it stable for now, from 44 to 43. So, I'm good for now and will keep tweaking. My current Heaven score:

Results from 3DMark, Skydiver, Firestorm, and Firestorm Extreme. Everything has gone up to 10%. The newer results are on the top.

I'm getting some different colored doors, but I'll get the new and final pics up. The stickers will have to be placed too.
