I'll make an assumption and assume hydraulic landing gear failure causing the plane to slide off its jacks

Well at least it didn't go into an ocean or something. Someone is losing their job over this, however.

    My Laptop (GE63VR-7RF):
    -7700HQ.
    -16GB RAM.
    -GTX 1070.
    -128GB SSD.
    -1X 1TB 7200 spinny drive.

Someone set the jacks wrong. Those jacks are meant to hold the plane in place of the landing gear. I've used those sort of jacks before on like sized aircraft. Landing gear fairure in this case should be irrelevant if they set those jacks correctly. If anything they were using those jacks because they were performing maintenance and testing on the landing gear bringing the gear up and down while the aircraft was on the jacks.

Yup, exactly what I was going to say. A landing gear failure shouldn't cause that to happen. The reason it was kn jacks in the first place was probably due to a routine inspection, landing gear maintenance, or landing gear repair. In other words, regardless of the state the landing gear was in, this shouldn't have happened if the jacks were used correctly.

Yes you're correct. Improper jacking or a massive jack failure. Write that aircraft off as a loss.....

Here I am using similar jacks. Never mind that I'm standing on top of that B-47 answering a text.

Actually though...yes, we're all retards and trolls around here. It's just that we're employed retards and trolls with engineering degrees. In my particular case it's a Manufacturing Engineering degree.
