I flashed both of my 680s to a 770 bios. It flashed fine and seemed to be working, however I was having an issue and thought it might be due to the bios, so I flashed it back to the original. I backed up the original bios and flashed those back.

Now my problem is GPU-Z and nvflash both confirm it has the original 680 bios number, but all the specs are still the 770 bios, and it is still running like the 770 bios, such as GPU Boost 2.0 and the lower idle clock speeds and different fan speeds. If I backup the bios again it gives me the original 680 bios. I am a bit confused as how it can have the 680 bios on it, but it's still acting like the 770. Any ideas? Both cards are doing the same thing.

I'll ask that you contact EVGA tech support if you have EVGA based GTX 680 cards.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Thank you for your reply. I took the cards out, turned the computer on. Then put the cards back in and turned the computer on again and it reset the bios back to the original one. Not sure why that happened since it flashed fine the first time.
