Hello everyone, I have a odd problem that can be caused by many things such as bent CPU pins unstable oc too little power or too low volts on the IOH.
My system specs
3770k
4x4 GB 2400 MHz Kingston Hyper Beast
2x GTX 780 Classy SLI
MSI Z77 Mpower
Creative Sound Blaster Fatal1ty
Asus PCE-ac68 NIC
Corsair AX760i
The problem is, since I installed my 2nd Classy and moved the network card to the third pci x1 slot my bandwidth has been lowered to 30 mb / s on a 100 mb / s line and games like BF4 doesn't load the new map every 5th game or so caused by " connection problems " even tho I'm fully connected to internet . Programs like skype may also lag for no reason when this happened, and the sound is lower than it used to be. But when the system is idling and no games are running everything is working fine no problem with skype or internet connection and the sound is as high as it use to be...

Any ideas?

I forgot to mention that everything is working fine I havnt had any bluescreens or lockups. And I'm running my cpu at 4,8 ghz with 1,376v Dram volt at 1.65 SA volt 0.9650 and its 100 % stable.
Scoring 20388p in 3DM11 and every game is running smooth!

Pathetic advice.

How much pressure does the PSI lane have? Maybe it is low on pressure.

Ok, to be serious...
Why are you using the network card? Do you need it? What is wrong with the onboard network controller? Have you disabled the onboard network controller and onboard sound card to free up lanes? Have you tried with the CPU at stock speeds? It may seem stable, but if you are having problems, it should be the first thing you try. Having high speed memory over Intel's specs isn't helping anything either I don't think.

Yes I need it since the onboard wifi card can't connect to my router downstairs for some reason.. and yes everything is turned of in bios! The fun part is everything have been working as it should until i sli:ed my 2 classes together and moved the network card.

WiFi for a desktop computer? Gross.

Try again with your CPU at default speed and with your memory at 1600MHz like Intel recommends.  Then go from there.  More load always has a chance of causing more instability.

Just did that it's still the same..
But i got a HUGE bottleneck ( Cpu can't handle the classys it seems)

And btw i got fiber 100/100 so I'll get 100/70 on wifi :3

So if you take the second Classy out, does the speed increase?  What slot is the sound card in?  I think you are running out of PCI lanes.  I believe you only have 16 lanes, so with 2 GPUS, network card, and a sound card, that is too much.

System #1
ASUS RIV BE
4930K 4.5GHz - Kraken X60 push/pull
16Gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133MHz
EVGA 780 Classified SLI - Pro SLI Bridge
Corsair AX1200i
Windows 7 Pro
NZXT Switch 810
ASUS PB287Q 4K

System #2
3930K @ 4.4GHz
8Gb 1600Mhz
XFX R9 270X (for now)

I have 3 x 16 3.0 and 4 x 1 lanes, I'm running the first classy in x 16 slot no.1 and second card in the second slot.
But i figured out the problem, It was Cpu/ ram related, I fixed it by adjusting the cl rate on the ram and changed the oc on the cpu to 4,9 ghz and tweaked the volts a little, and so far it have been working fine no problems yet. But I'll post back in a couple of days :)

Thx!

I got into trouble again.. and decided to take out the network card and bam everything is working perfectly....

SO wt*.. I cant use 4 pci cards on 1155 or whut?!? The 3770k supports 23 pci-e lanes.. and I was running SLI ( 8x 8x and 2 other pci cards in x1 and x1 ) that is x 18 right?!
So why is this happening in the first place?

3770k = 16 pci-e lanes.
Z77 Mpower = No PLX chip.

No, buy a board that has a PLX chip and you should be fine.

I've heard that the PLX chip should always be avoided unless you're doing tri or quad sli - due to significant latency issues. If you do double SLI with a PLX enabled motherboard it will perform worse than native CPU x8/x8...? :o

Updates?

I didn't get a FTW board.. They were sold out when I was to purchase one :/

Anyways 2 weeks after that I did a total overhaul with my pc and changed some things and did it " perfect " so to say ( involving taking out the nic card and replacing the AX760i with a supernova G2 1000, mounting backplates on the classics so on. )
I was by no doubt out of pci lanes and the Nic card as the main problem.. But the pc Is working fine now and everything is flawless for now. I might upgrade to x99 and a 5930k next year or so when the supply of ddr4 is greater and the maybe if available but i third GTX 780 classy.. But i dont know, I'm satisfied atm anyways
