Steam has Assetto Corsa for $19.99 right now. I watched some video reviews of the game and still feel unsure. I have bought Grid, NFS and even the F1 games. I have not played them extensively but casually. What kind of input can you give compared to these titles? Play wise and graphically? Thank you.

It's incomplete now, with a mixed but small car selection and no career mode.  You can make your own races and play multiplayer, but when it's finished it will have a career mode with much more cars as well.  Its driving physics are some of the best out there, if not the best.  Car models are rendered with stunning detail, both inside and out.  It's a simulator and therefore is not comparable to NFS or Grid.  Since buying it now gives you the full game upon release, it's a good idea to get it if you are into simulators.

And you really should use a good racing wheel with it, makes it a much better experience.

Well I dont currently have  racing wheel. I have always wanted one. The one I have wanted for a long time is the Logitech G27.

Good choice , I wan't that one as well. All I have now is a Val gear "Trans Wheel" from the 90's (to put it simply: It sucks...).

It supports controllers to.  I use a wired XBOX 360 Controller.  Just don't expect to win races online if you play like this.  The same can be said for any other racing simulator really.

I will use a 360 controller cause that is what i have and it for sure is better than just a keyboard alone.

I bought AC last week.  Even though it's incomplete, it's awesome. If you are in to racing sims this should be at the top of your list. I use a G27 on a wheelstand pro.  Its probably the best bang for your buck way to go for racing.  I'm ready for a career mode, but it's still alot of fun.  It's going to take a while to become efficient with the feel of the sim.  It's not easy. I would highly recommend it at $20...  I paid $40 last week.  It's going to be a 10/10 once it's finished.

Edit: I'd also like to add, that a race wheel to the level of a G27 isn't necessarily necessary...  Alot of the cars will just utilize the paddle shifters b/c they have more than 6 gears.  The Logitech Momo Race wheel could be a good choice as well and is much less expensive.  That's if it's still for sale... You might could find one used on ebay for next to nothing...  I think I have only used the shifter on the G27 for 1 car so far.
