So I got my 2-way SLI bridge installed with my 780's today and the bridge looks great installed, but.....

The LED's just dont look right when the system is powered up. When I have the LED illumination turned up I can see 2 bright LED's but the EVGA Logo doesn't really light up that well. Almost like there's an LED missing in the middle.

Then, if I want to turn the LED's off and have them set to 0 in the LED controller, the LED's never fully turn off. They are dimmed, but still visible.

Is this normal?

It should be pretty clear and light up pretty well. When I shut down it dims then shuts off completely where you can't see anything (didn't do the shutdown part on the vid; just the light up)

I made a quick vid to help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8BvsTW9UiU&feature=youtu.be

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply. Mine looks nothing like that. Yours looks really clear and well illuminated.

Mine basically looks just like two brightly illuminated individual LED's. Not to mention they can't be turned off. Only dimmed.

Guess I'll be requesting a replacement.

Can you turn your LED'S off completely using Geforce Experience or the EVGA LED Controller?

You're welcome!  I actually tried manipulating the LED's using Geforce Experience and got nothing. I believe those adjust the reference models? Not sure but it didn't work for me.  Sorry to hear you'll have to replace the bridge. Glad the video helped make it clear.  Hopefully the shipping times are quick and painless!

Thanks. Theres a seperate setting for the cards and the SLI bridge. Mine are reference cards though.

RMA is already arranged with the store so im returning it tomorrow. They usually have a quick turnaround time so fingers crossed.

Back to my boring old stock bridge for now. At least its black and not that ugly brown they used to be.

Anybody knows when they will restock the 60mm 2 way SLI bridges?
Been waiting since last friday, since I found out the SLI bridge I had laying around was damaged.

I will receive my EVGA SLI pro bridge p/n : 100-2W-0021-LR from amazon.ca. Is that part number represent the latest revision ? I receive my EVGA SLI pro bridge and work perfectly well. The revision are 2.0 so it work ok with my 4k samsung display. My flexible cable was the problem causing flicker, stutter and crash. Am I right saying that the flex cable introduced spurious or their is some line missing for the SLI communication between the card ? What is the difference EVGA pro SLI connector and the flex cable ?

The Short Bridge (100-2W-0022-LR ) appears not to be sold anywhere.  I cannot find it anywhere on the net.  This is the one that will fit my GPU arrangement.  Any idea if it will be made again?

I have another Titan Black SC on the way so, using an ASUS Z97-WS I will need slots 1 & 5 for SLI. Which if any pro bridge would work for this setup?

Anybody know if the LED controller will integrate with Geforce Experience with the release of the new NVIDIA SLI bridges?
Not that I care personally but I'm a strong believer in what integration can bring the wider audience, and I am hoping this was considered when working on the new ones.

I just plugged my Triple EVGA Pro SLI Bridge in, and.. Even with the TI Classifieds... it works...  I didn't think it worked with the classified line up.  The two way bridges I had before Definitely didn't work.

Hi, could any one please help me out? i have a asus maximus hero VII and 2x evga gtx 780 ti classified in sli, would the 3/2 way evga pro sli bridge work or is my only option the 2 way pro bridge? I really want the 3/2 way over the 2 way because the 3/2 way covers all 4 sli connectors and the 2 way only covers 2 of the 4 connectors. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

The illuminated bridge is compatible with reference cards. Yours are not reference cards. This is probably the reason why it does'nt work : no circuitry for LED control. (AFAIK, the LEDs are under graphics card control, and the bridge needs the LED controller : the bridge is a passive component). In other words, if the graphics card is already illuminated (like ref cards), it works. If not, it does'nt.

This certainly is a Asus 770 issue, not a NVIDIA or EVGA bridge issue.

why make it simple when it can be complicated ????
