Just booted up a Pentium g3258 and a 750tiFTW build for a new business computer and Im trying to OC this beast a bit but Ive having no luck.

Normally with my gaming stuff ill do the aisuite quick and dirty max oc and then tweak it, with this I just want a little bit of oc quick and dirty and I dont care after that but the computer will not restart after any of the auto tuner profiles are installed. Ive even tried the least oc @ about 4.3 and it still wont reboot.  Any ideas?

specs
asus z97 mobo
g3258 pentium unlocked
evga 750ti ftw (oc's like a beast btw)
h100i (yea I know it cost more than the cpu but I had it siting there so what the hell)
850 watts (another spare what the hell overkill part)
16gb of corsair vengence 1600 mhz ram (yea again)

Is this thing just a suck-wad ocer?

Try not doing the "auto over clock"  Try manually upping the CPU multiplier everything else auto.(maybe up the CPU voltage to somewhere around 1.2v)
usually not rebooting is not enough voltage to CPU, or somewhere else. Of course memory speed, timing, or voltage.
Be sure to have the latest and greatest bios.

What Awall said, make sure it's the most recent BIOS as all boards needed an update for the G3258 to properly support OCing it.

What I would do if I were you:
Uninstall ASUS AIsuite. Increase the CPU multiplier by one in BIOS. Save BIOS and exit. Try that. If it won't boot, manually increase CPU voltage a bit. Keep slowly increasing multiplier until you are happy and raise CPU voltage as necessary. Use a CPU stress tester to test for stability and check your CPU core temperatures while doing the CPU stress test.

Do not use an auto overclock. Do not use software to overclock your CPU in the operating system. Do you use AIsuite at all.

    ;)
