Hi guys,

New to the forum. Just built a new PC.
Asrock z97x Fatality board
Kingston HyperX RAM at 2133 MHz (8GB)
EVGA Nova PSu (750watts)
4th gen Intel I5 4670k @ 4GHz
2 Corsair Neutron series SSD’s
EVGA GTX 760 (4GB Version)
 That’s all the good bits.

Anyhow, I have GPU issues. Never messed with any settings on it at all. Currently running the 337 driver. This thing crashes all the time. It crashes every 3 minutes sometimes I get like 30 mins with no issues but it always crashes. It always recovers but it’s getting old…

So far I have:
-          Uninstalled graphics driver
-          - uninstalled the card from device manager
-          - re scanned
-          Rebooted and reinstalled driver.
-          Still having issues
What else should I try?

I would suggest installing this card in another computer and seeing if the issue follows with the card. This is usually the quickest and easiest method of troubleshooting since it rules out the components and software in  your system as potential issues.

Beyond that, try installing it in another PCI-E slot in your computer. This way you can determine if there's a potential issue with your motherboard. You could also try removing this card and installing a spare.

If you still encounter issues after trying these suggestions, call EVGA tech support and we'll try to help you as best we can.

You need to provide more info. "it crashes" needs to be more specific. What is the crash, what is it displaying when it crashes, and what are you doing when it happens?

Have you tested your memory and CPU? (Memtest, Prime95, LinX Linpack) Are you sure your power supply is good? (Well reviewed, quality, good voltage when tested with a digital multimeter)

Power supply, memory, and CPU issues can cause video card issues and make the video card appear to be the culprit.

And of course error message, BSOD message, and BSOD code information would help us a lot. "Crashes" or "doesn't work" aren't helpful.

The first step in troubleshooting crashing of unknown origin,  is to revert any overclocks to stock. Have you set your memory timing manually in the BIOS or did you let the system set it? What OS are you running?

Are you using any pci-e extensions from your psu power cables to the video cards?
