Well I made the switch to this card about two days ago. I used to have 280x crossfires but I was just having too many problems so I just made the switch to a single GPU. In games that I play such as Far cry I'm getting way below 60 fps and in BF4 they don't seem that high either probably like 70-80 most of the time dipping to 60 once in a while and with vsync on it cant stay at 60 for some reason. Just wanted to know if this is normal.

My Hardware Specs:

Thermaltake Overseer RX-I case
Corsair H110 water block
16 GB corsair RAM (8GBx2)
Z87-G45 Msi motherboard
1050 Watt ultra X4 psu
intel core i7-4790K 4.0GHZ cpu overclocked @ 4.7 GHZ
And of course the classified 780 Ti (not overclocked since EVGA removed precision for a bit and with msi afterburner my games crash I assume it's just a glitch or something)
Oh yeah and my monitor is just an LG 1080p 60Hz

Any help would be appreciated, just a bit curious about my setup. Thanks :)

What are your settings for the games themselves? Ultra preset, and higher?

When I ran a single 780ti,i was getting around 130 (high fps) on BF4 with SSBOA (or, whatever it is) if I switched the HBAO, then I went to 80-90s. Do you have any vsync set in NVidia Control Panel (check global and per game), or in game,

I also have an LG 1080p as well.

Hi, thanks for replying :) .. and yeah Ultra preset is what I've been trying to put it on. The ultra preset for Bf4 sets it automatically to SSAO and I seem to be getting the frames that you were getting for the HBAO on that preset. Then when i switch to the HBAO it pretty much goes down to like 40-50 constant frames. So my frames seem way lower.. I made sure to driver sweep the previous drivers when I installed the nvidia ones and the first thing i did was turn off Vsync and the vsync for Bf4 is off as well

Make sure you don't have any background applications running. Try running a virus scan as well. Make sure there is nothing taxing your gpu while it is idle.

Hmmm I closed some things and it seems to be running better, not sure if it was because i was playing on a different map previously. This computer is fairly new like a couple of weeks old I haven't really touched any downloads besides like steam and origin and when not doing anything my gpu is at 0 then when i open bf4 it shoots up to 99, temps never reach father then like 78C. I guess that's about it.. I just thought it would perform a bit better. I was just a bit skeptical because I had it built at tiger direct when I was picking out the parts, and I was just like might as well I didn't really want to deal with all the updates and crap, which was kind of a bad idea since I had to take it back again for lack of starting up. Well thanks for your help, maybe getting another one for sli wouldn't be a bad idea.

I max out 200 fps on the high end and 170 and with dual SLI, and 190 average with tri. I love having two cards, but heat becomes the issue fairly quick.
