I'm looking at upgrading my evga 670 ftw gpu to either a 780 ftw, 6gb 780 sc or 780ti sc model.
I'm not sure which one to get. Are there any recommendations from anyone? Is it worth spending more money to get the 'ti' version?

Thanks.

Everyone is going to ask you :

what games do you plan on playing with it ?
what resolution do you play at ?
what is the rest of your system specs ?
    etc....

I'm running 2 780 Ti Dual ACX in sli mode and love them! I upgraded this year from a Sapphire 5970 so it was a huge upgrade for me. I'm currently playing games at 1080p but the main reason why I purchase these cards is because I want to game at 1440p. Asus announced the ROG Swift PG278Q monitor earlier this year and I'm planing to pick this monitor up when it releases in NA in September:

I currently play at 1080p but planning on getting a 1440p monitor soon.

    I am also currently running:
16gb corsair vengeance ram at 1600mhz
    i5 3570k @ 3.8ghz
    128gb ssd.
    3x 1tb hdd's.

As for games I'm currently playing:
BF4, Dota 2, Witcher 2, Watchdogs, Eve Online. Very wide variety.

Planning on playing games such as The Division, Witcher 3 etc when they're released.

Personally I would go for the 780 Ti because your planing to game at 1440p. If you can afford it, get two and pick up the new Asus Monitor and your good to go!

For 1080p or 1440p 780's or 780 Ti's will be fine.  You may be able to find 2 780's for a little more than a single 780 Ti.  What is your budget?

I'd say the 780 Ti SC  .... it's basically performance of a Titan w/ little less memory and lower cost than a Titan.
I prefer the titan style cooler myself ....

I've got around £550 to play around with. I'm more of a fan of having a single gpu in my system tbh.

First I will ask you where do you live?
    I mean USA or Europe.
    If you live in USA
    http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=03G-P4-2884-KR

If you live in Europe Caseking sell GTX780Ti Classified for 679e. 1020MHz fabric OC.
That's incredible price for such card.

Because you talk about pounds I suppose you are in UK.
Overclockers UK sell for 570, EVGA GTX780Ti SC ACX 03G-P4-2884-KR
1006MHz Base Clock, that's 130MHz OC, pretty fast card.

I live in the UK. =) Scan Computers sell the Evga gtx 780ti sc acx for £529 I think, so the price isn't bad at all. =)

Also how future proof will the 780ti sc be in terms of a stable 60fps on Ultra Settings. (Not too fussed about AA being above x2 etc)

As it stands there is only currently a 3gb vram model(not sure if there will be a 4gb+ model being released) and with more games utilising more vram will the gpu stand the test of time?
For example more demanding games such as The Division, The Witcher 3 coming out early next year?

I'm not a pro at all this so correct me if I'm sounding stupid ha!

    Cheers.

I think you will able to play nice until warranty finish,
2.5-3 years. They will not launch GTX780Ti with more than 3GB.
GTX780 6GB is available but it's only have sense if someone want SLI.
For one card is better GTX780Ti. And if you buy that model Superclocked is about 10% faster than reference GTX780Ti.

I was able to play at 1440p just fine with my 780. Although, i have the PNY OC edition, (lifetime warranty) It's by far the most overclocked 780 out there, and has an amazing cooler. Even at 1080p it crushes all games.
