This is a friendly place with lots of good members.....some things are just against terms of service and it's the moderators job to respond.

i already posted this but you locked the thread so i cant repsonde in it and had to make another thread...if u dont belive me make a post with the w t f and w t h with no spaces and it will auto astrick them...ive been a member here since 2009 and i know the rules....first thread was in the bstock asking about a flashed bios i told my story of haveing to rma 3 boards to get one flashed with the 2.03 bios and it was deleted, i feel it was deleted because i didnt speak highly of the rma service i recived....second one was about the phone catching fire under the kids pillow and i recounted my years as a ff/emt and seeing this happen with more then just phones it was deleted....the mods are becoming more and more clickish over here and if your not in that click you get treated like a unwanted step child and it is compleatly unfair as mods are spose to be fair to all....at this point im ready to cancel the 4000 dollars worth of evga products i have on order from newegg and amazon becasue im tired of the corprate bs that evga has come to bare on its loyal users....

You've been here since 2009 and you know the rules?
 
Go read the ToS one more time, Because I don't believe that. Cancel the order.. Who cares? I don't know if you knew this, But if it's a retailer, It means EVGA was already paid for that product. Lol. :), How about you have some patience and wait until RJ finishes the investigation, Before you continue ranting?

Wow, I've been here a long time and I don't think the mods are unfair at all. Don't know what you're talking about with corporate bs, EVGA is more loyal to its customers than just about any other company I've ever seen. Can you name another gpu company that gives its customers so many choices on their cards?

I'll try to explain the asterisks.  Long ago, we came up with a list of words that needed to be added to the filter.  W T ..... was added because it contained probably one of the worse curse words as an acronym.  It wasn't to kill anyones fun.  It was there to protect the young people on the forums.  It was also being abused.  
 
The forum has a language filter. With words set many moons ago.  We aren't going around putting in asterisks.  EVGA is a company that sells a product and tries to maintain a public image on it's forum that is accessible by people of all ages.  It's company policy.   If a thread was locked.  it's probably because it contained too many curse words or spacing was used to skirt the language filter.  A no no.
 
Anything you say negative about EVGA, mods are instructed to let them ride...we could care less if you rant about EVGA,  it just has to be done with the appropriate language.

EVGA will take any of your experiences, Good or bad, To further improve their image and or customer service based on these experiences! I'm not sure why people who have a couple of bad events automatically threaten to boycott the company, That's just dumb.

 
I can understand W T and the F word... but W T Hell/Heck? what's wrong with hell/heck? Since when were they curse words?   ..perhaps a little fine tuning is in order?
 
p.s., OP, I've been pulled out several times for posting W T and the F word...  it's such common parlance on the internet, sometimes one sneaks in inadvertently .  You're not a victim here unless you choose to be.

OP, no one is singling you out. This happens to anyone based on the forum guidelines. I could see anger over it if it was just you, but the language guidelines are applicable to everyone equally. Just make note of it and go on with life. Ranting over it is wasted energy.

I'm sorry but unless a 6 year old and younger is in here somewhere that I'm not aware of censoring some o the things that are censored/not allowed is just ignorance. Evga nor anyone else in here should be held accountable for someone's words or opinions. We have parents for that. Let those lazy bastards censored what their kid sees. Bro dont swear. I was angry when it was implemented as well but there is nothing you can do. Policy is policy. Many younger people are interested in computers and EVGA wants to keep their name friendly to all ages including children.

Also my pirceings are my business, my tattoos are not your concern, what I do in my free time (gaming etc) is my business and if I'm wasting my life its mi e to waste. Words are just that. To add that they are low brow gibes them power to be low brow. Being offensive, words describing words. Not only are they weightless, but they are also powerless until some simpleton gives them the power. 
 
 
To note. I have one tattoo, my ears were pierced years ago and I've not used the holes in 10+ years. To be clear as well I have always despised society. It is like a special club fullof special people with special needs. People who clearly need meaningless rules to govern the masses. One size doesn't always fit all, one rule will never make sense to all. There will always be people like me who see the common sense for what it is. Censorship....in the age of the internet...lol. Parenting isn't a difficult thing to do. I shouldn't have to watch myself, parent s should watch their kids. Meh..I'll leave this alone because obviously it irks me...

Actualy I didn't "sign" anything. I blindly clicked I agree/I accept as u do with all meaningless agreements. And...as far as I know. Things have changed since then and since then there has been no new agreement. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't that mean the original is null and void? I don't have to like anything and it is my right to speak no it against it. I do so freely. Don't hate me because I have free will and use it.

Let's be honest though. How many of you actually sat and read the tos when you joined? I bet not many as nobody does, do you sit and read the terms on any software you buy, of course not. I completely agree that wt h is stupid to be filtering as it could mean heck. And even so if its family friendly I can guarantee that 6 yo johnny hear hell many times now in church if he's goes and if not I'm sure he still has so what's the big deal. If we are gonna filter words that are so insignificant these days why don't we do a better job at filtering scantily clad women in avatars and such as well because 6 yo johnny shouldn't see that either.
