Sunwing Airlines Flight 772 Plane Escorted By US F-16s After Passenger Threat This so called "Tactical" team needs to get it together... It sounds like they're saying "Hands up, Hands down".

Thats what happens when more than one person tries to talk/give orders at the same time. One person should be designated the hands up heads down yeller, everyone else shut up unless a gun is seen.

Yeah, Not to mention... They're seriously carrying those type of weapons on an AIRPLANE? If there was a threat within that plane, Many innocent people would have gotten killed. There's not enough room to swing rifles and shotguns (I hope it was slugs in there, Not buckshot) around... This situation calls for Secondary. I mean, I've never seen them train or anything, But There's so many people standing and moving around, So much room for error in a small firefight (Had the threat had a weapon on him).

Needs of the many comes to mind. Loosing a few lives is worth not loosing all in an explosion... My assumptions anyway I think it would have been best to make the ppl evac and shoot anyone still I. The plane or whatever. Good thing g I don't make the rules

In most cases, they would rather that the plane blow up and random pieces fall to the ground randomly than have the plane be used as a missile.

That is only for civil arrest. Threatening to blow up the plane is an act of terrorism. There for the military can take any action needed to stop the threat.
