I'm currently running a 650 but have an unopened GTX 780 in a box. I have the stock CPU cooler on a 4770k ATM. Thinking about putting a Kraken G10 on the 780 and a better air cooler on the stock CPU. Anybody with any experience with a G10 in the Hadron Hydro? Thoughts?

I have a flashed rom that allows me to turn the GPU fan completely off on my 650 so it just sits idle around 30c in Windows, but cranks up when I game. I like the nearly silent nature of the case ATM and don't want to listen to a whiny video card fan while doing productive work, which is 95+% of the time. I suppose I could try and do a similar flash on my new vid card, but I'd hate to create an expensive brick.

I was looking into this as well, but looking at pics from this thread , it looks like it would either sit on top of the power supply and block air flow, or just not fit in at all. It looks really low. Im thinking of upgrading my 480 to a 780 Ti, and need to decide reference cooler or waterblock. Right now I have a waterblock on the 480 and it runs ok, but I think the 780 would generate more heat and the evga kit might not be good enough to cool everything.

d wray, the 780 Ti will be fine in there.  Despite the fact that it's MANY times faster than you GTX 480, it's a second generation Kepler chip and runs a LOT cooler in general than a first gen Fermi (your 480).  The 480 is notorious for being one of Nvidia's hottest running chips in recent years, if your Hadron Hydro cooling is keeping it in check, it will most definitely keep the 780 Ti tamed.  I'm currently running an R9 290X on liquid in mine and the temps are fantastic.  The 290X is a much hotter running chip than the 780 Ti, so you'll be fine, trust me.  The EVGA liquid kit is actually pretty capable (minus the pump/reservoir, I had some leaking issues with mine but that's another story).
