    D5 pumps are stronger and better than this or not?

    I am wondering the same thing. I really should learn more about pumps but just haven't found a good source or time.

    More concerned about the durability of this new pump... generally smaller (such as the MCP355) means they don't last as long as the MCP655. I guess only time will tell on this one.


    My MCP655 is over 7 years old and still running strong without any change in acoustics despite heavy, mostly 24/7 use. If it died tomorrow I'd get another one over anything else they offer.

    Swiftech MCP655 is great pump but EKWB don't sell X-Top Acetal Clean without pump.
    Only D5 Vario Motor Included. I would choose Swiftech or Koolance as D5 put it's not possible.
