I need to make sure that I have the latest BIOS for my GPU.

I don't have any issues with my GPU, but the fan doesn't ramp up much when the GPU gets hotter.
For example, when the GPU reaches 80 degrees celsius the fan sits at 50% fan speed only, so my though is that they have improved the fan profile or made other changes that result in a better running GPU

All nvidia cards are setup to run around 50% fan speed on their default fan profiles to minimize noise. If you would like to setup a custom fan profile all you need to do is download the latest version of precision x and setup a custom fan profile.

The fan profile I have made is the same as the original but I added 5% fan speed more
    The default is
My system is very silent, so 50% is a little audible and 55% is a little more.
    60+ is very audible

I just saw this, I have the same card and have used a custom fan profile forever with it.  If you're still having cooling problems let me know.  With the right graphics settings in WoW and SWTOR I was able to get high-90's GPU usage to really push the heat and with my custom profile never got about mid-70's at that usage level.

I do not know about that particular card/BIOS, but my generic nVIDIA 560Ti would only go to 70%, no matter what type of profile I used.

In order to get a full 100% out of the fan, I needed to mod the BIOS.
