I put the leds in place, wire them in parallel and then sleeve. The sleeving wraps around the edge of the block.

Its a race to see who fills up the batch first.  The SR2 folks, or the X79 Dark.

Looks nice Nate !  I used to do cnc milling just curious have you ever used vacume & o-ring material to hold small parts without using clamps ?

I have ALWAYS wanted to do that!  One day I would love to do that, but most blocks I have to rotate the part, and cut on both sides.  Normally I think the vacuum would be great, but not sure how I would indicate the part when I flip it over without using bolt holes.

I am cutting the last of the SR2 blocks as we speak.  They should be all cut on the machine by the end of this weekend.  then comes the finishing.

Drill a hole somewhere in part all the way thru. Then just indicate hole. It might even be a section of part that gets cut off later. You might have to ream or bore the hole to get a smooth surface.

Every single part I make has some through holes to bolt to a fixture plate.  The top plastic parts use the bolt holes as the through holes.  It would take a while to indicate a bunch of parts.

speaking of machining, did you check out the thread that is the machine build itself?

I have the full form thread in the CNCzone forums.

Thanks!  I have a few home made ones.  It helps pass what little time I have.
Speaking of time, I have all the parts cut.  Almost completed the first pair of blocks.

I will actually have a few extra's in this batch.  Shoot me an e-mail (link in sig)
If you got a paypal, your block is ready to go.  If not, it will be done tomorrow.  Leak tests are underway.
