Hello,
I installed the latest evga precision x today and now I see 2 servers and the evga precision x x64 5.01 software running in the tray.
Is that normal ? I have 2 grafic cards so now I get 2 servers ?
2 x EVGA GTX660 Superclocked in SLI and windows 7 sp1 x64 Professional

You are lucky, in my case are three servers (servers with absolutely nothing, just blank windows) And I have only one graphics card...

I also have blank screens. I rebooted a couple of times and now I have 1 server running but still with a blank screen.
Must be malfunctioning somehow.

The multiple server issue is random, 1 time 1 server shows up the next boot 2. Still both with blank windows.

I also noticed that the fan curve isn't working after a reboot and the bar of the fan speed is on 0 even if the fan is running. To fix this you have to open the fan curve and press OK and than it all works again. The auto button is switched to on.
I already notified EVGA and their engineers are looking into it.

Yeah, that was one of the several bugs remaining just prior to EVGA pulling it down off their site. Many complaints posted about it. Hopefully they get everything worked out soon and have it back up & running.

Sebastian Lachmann Do you happen to still have a copy of the (5.0.1) installer? I'm stuck on the first version (5.0.0) and just needed to apply the latest minor patch for " Fix overvolt bug on 780 Ti and TITAN cards." I have only one GPU, but it happens to be the 780 Ti Superclocked (03G-P4-2883-KR) and am concerned about not having that bug-fix. I realize I could downgrade, but I really like the new, reorganized GUI and am averse to going back to PrecisionX 4.2.1. I've also contacted eVGA Support to see if they can assist.

The only way at present to remove the server box from popping up is to remove OSD on the monitoring graph tab in the properties and then do a restart and it won't popup again but you also wont see any thing on your game.

Well I'm back at 4.2.1 ;
After every reboot the 5.0.1 software fan adjustment and the FPS limiter had to be reactivated like I already told :/

They need to just remove the server taskbar icon and merge it with the Presicion icon. It would be nice if they give users the option to disable all together.

To disable the server, simply erase both the server .EXEs. The EVGA Precision 5 does not error or prompt at all. Seems to work fine without it. You must stop the EVGA Precision 5 and server before doing this, so it is advised to stop any gaming you are doing to prevent overheating if you use the fan control module. Make sure any instances of the server are removed using the Task Manager. Make sure your folder looks like this.  Do not erase the .DLL dependencies of the server, they may be used by the EVGA Precision 5 and has not been tested. I do not know how they programmed this, but programmers typically will call a .EXE when they want it to be ran, and if it isn't ran it just won't execute in the given areas it needs to. Whereas, a .DLL is part of its framework and can cause major breaks in the program.
